Hello! I am just bringing this up now, because I understand development takes a long time. I was wondering if there will be a more heroes after season 4? I am seeing great heroes that represent many groups and that is awesome! There area now many areas of Europe being recognized, and I was wondering if Eastern Europe will be represented with new heroes one day. For example:
Rus/Slavic Warriors (Knight)
Byzantine Knight (Knight)
Novgorod Knight (Knight/Viking)
Varangian Guard (Viking)
Polish Hussars (Knight) (Lunge attacks)
Common weapons not used yet may consist of types of sabres, estoc (stabbing sword), small warhammers, axe + shield,

I'm no historian, but there were east European knights. I was hoping for some representation is all. Polish, Slav, etc. As far as i know you are correct about Slavs, but they became many east European peoples like the Polish, Czech, Slovak, Ukraine, etc. There are a lot of interesting armors and weapons of these people. I believe that the Byzantine Empire hired many types of East European factions to fight for them as well. Just as Centurion and Gladiator were not nights, they were aligned with the Knight faction, I was hoping they may show interest in this other untapped area of Europe for future Heroes.
How are the rus and slav in any way a knight faction? When their pantheon of gods matches the other Scandinavian tribes. As well the rus are migrated Scandinavian norsemen. Plus even down to their armor and helms... Norsemen...Originally Posted by Kurek- Go to original post
In my opinion it would make sense. Again the rus should be viking faction. The Varangians gaurd would be viking faction. Ubless you just want to put a Norsemen Viking in the night faction for some odd reason.

That video explains how the Varangians are viking, and also rus.
So having them both this kind of redundant it would be in either or situation I think. I think it would be more relevant to have a rus viking.
And even though I suggested it as well in the past it just seems a little bit difficult story-wise to incorporate of arranging guard roofs Viking because all it is is a Viking that is a guard/mercenary.
However the rus look different enough via their own culture to where it wouldn't look completely like just another Warlord or just another typical Viking character. he would stand out as his own while still belonging.
