    Faction Themed Guild Houses

    Hello,

When "For Honor" gets back on it's feet (the proposed changes look very promising so fingers crossed this happens within the next 6 months) and more players get back/start playing this game I believe we will need a few in-game tools to allow creation and management of more organised player groups. It so happens that "Guilds" presented below should be both easy(ish) to implement and very lore-friendly.

    Faction Themed Guild Houses

    • The Type (Knight, Samurai, Viking) of the Theme depends on the initial in-game choice we all make allying ourselves with one of the 3 Factions.

    • All characters that "don't fit" within the specific theme (e.g. a Viking hero in a Samurai Themed Guild) are considered as Converts "now fighting for what's truly in their hearts!".
    • 3D environment that all Guild Members can navigate through at the same time admiring beautifully modelled Guild Halls (relevant God(s) Hall that could give the Guild a 1-hour "Blessing" for a Rare Offering granting increased XP gain, Gardens for meditation (purely cosmetic?), Blacksmith's Workshop (described below), etc.).
    • Training Areas where Guild Members (or invited Guests from other Guilds) could train and learn together.
    • Ranked/Clan/Server/World Leader Boards showing various detailed player statistics.
    • Trophy Rooms displaying Trophies won or stolen during Tournaments, Seasons and Raids.
    • Guild House Upgrading System (basic, small, medium, large, huge) allowing more Members, more Rooms, more Influence on World Map, faster Resource gathering, etc.
    • Guild Blacksmiths allowing Weapon Repairs, Upgrades and Creation (based on Resources and Blueprints found).
    • Guild Member Ranks allowing members to gain new Titles, Gear Colour Patterns and Ornaments after completing certain Trials (performing a specific Combo, beating a specific level Enemy within a Time Limit, etc.).
    • Guild Treasury needed for the Guild's expansion and more control over spending War Effort in specific Provinces.
    • Guild Raids allowing for a series of Guild vs. Guild matches that would grant the winning Guild 15% of Resource and a random Rare Offering for the Gods or new Guild Trophy.

I know I'm a dreamer but if all goes well for the Game this could be the next best thing. This system would add both more depth and more purpose to "For Honor" as well as it would make one feel like he's truly a part of a Warrior Clan. Something very similar is already working in a game called "Warframe" and IMHO it keeps the Community Interested and Occupied over 4 years after release.

    What do you Guys think?

I'm personally far more interested in new cosmetics, colors, heroes, maps, and game modes over pseudo-mmo type stuff. Even having played multiple MMOs I have zero interest in something like this.

This kind of large-scale social hub would definitely be a humongous undertaking. And perhaps one day we can make something like this possible - but I do believe we've previously expressed interest in a guild/club system on a smaller scale - so maybe we'll be able to see that come sooner
