    Suggested Conqueror Buffs and Other Questions for the Developers.

    With these new changes we will be seeing soon, the devs are more than likely going to be removing the Conqs superior block when he's out of stamina even though myself and many other Conq mains disagree with this decision. Therefore the Conq is going to need buffs in order to survive in the game. Please note that these changes are not meant to make the Conq OP, they are just meant to keep him safer since he is going to be losing all of his defensive options. And I'm sure I don't need to explain that defense should be the Conqs greatest strength.

    1. The Conq needs super armor on his SB: This buff will promote an aggressive play style which the developers are pushing for in the upcoming changes. The Conq will still take the same amount of damage, but his SB would no longer be interrupted by people spamming fast attacks. He still, or course, could be pushed or knocked out of it. This will ensure the Conq more security in an aggressive play style and make others respect his space.

    2. His fully charged heavy and zone attack should be un-parryable: Conqs charged heavy has always been one of, if not the most, telegraphed and parrable attack in the game. My suggestion is that the time for a fully charged heavy be increased slightly, but the end attack be un-parryable. It is still, of course, blockable and dodgeable. This again would give the Conq more security to go aggressive and not be too heavily punished for doing so.

    3. Heal on block should double the heal for parries: As of now, heal on block for Conq heals for 5 health when ever he blocks an attack from a player. (Light or heavy) My suggestion is that parries should heal for 10 health. In the upcoming changes, parrying is going to be near useless. Most players aren't going to even try for parries if all they are going to get is a light attack out of it. By making it so the heal is doubled for Conq it would actually make parrying worth doing again and reward the player for doing so. Note that parrying multiple attack at once would not stack the heal. For example, parrying 2 attacks at the same time would still only heal for 10 health.

    I would like to restate that these changes are not to make the Conq OP. With the upcoming changes, Conq is going to lose all defensive options, so these changes are just to ensure that he remains a safer character. With these changes, his aggressive play style would be promoted, while also keeping him a more defensive character. I know he is going to need these buffs since he is going to be so heavily nerfed.

    Now the questions I have for the developers.

    1. Is Conqs heal on block going to become useless? I've been wondering this since the "chip damage" change was announced. There are characters in this game whos attacks can do more than 5 damage when blocked. (Example, Raider heavy) So does this mean that heal on block is going to do nothing at all? Will he still take the damage from the block or will the feat negate all chip damage? I haven't seen an example of this yet so I would like to know.

    2. What do you intend to do with Conq in the future? I keep hearing news from both official sources and from other players in the community that Conq is going to receive a "rework", but what does that mean? Are you going to remake the character entirely of just give him some technical/mechanical tweeks? Personally, as a Rep 26 Conq myself, I don't feel that Conq needs a complete rework. I think his kit and play style are still very viable and over all good for the character. I just think he needs buffs or changes like the ones I've suggested above in order to bring him back into the game. Not to mention it would be very annoying to force high level Conq players to relearn an entirely new character.

    I hope these suggestions don't go ignored. With these new changes I know Conq is going to need buffs in order to prevent him from becoming a useless character and it should happen sooner rather than later. Please Developers, I understand the desire to remove turtling from the game, (I completely agree with it) but keep the Conq a defensive character. Some players, like myself, just naturally play with a more defensive or safe style and Conq has always been the best option for it.

    My other suggested change is that the Conqs infinite light attack chain be no longer interruptible when blocked. Since chip damage is going to be the best way to punish out of stamina enemies, the Conqs infinite chain should be un-interruptible while his enemy is OOS, but interruptible again when they regain full stamina. This would just be a nice change for Conq to have a different way to punish OOS enemies instead of just spamming SB or trying to fake one.

    Some good ideas here, i just reallyyyy hope they dont leave him how he is for the changes coming and then just attempt to sort him out a couple weeks in ect

    You people need to get off my pages and mind your own business. This is not spamming. It's on different pages only once so it is not spam. You are targeting me and you need to stop or I will start causing problems on these forums. I'm giving you fair warning.
