Been playing since open beta, February or March I think?

I've rarely found a game THIS engaging. It has its problems, connectivity being the most annoying one but it is getting gradually better. I haven't had an in game disconnect in two weeks of playing a lot.

The learning curve is steep, there will be a lot of frustration. You gotta take your time to learn your class, and all the others. You gotta have cat-like reflexes, nerves of steel and determination to keep trying again when you get schooled by better players.

There's 16 classes currently, mostly well made (OTHER THAN THE F**KING CENTURION HAHAHAHHA) They're creative, visually pleasing, and it gives the game a lot of diverse flavour. 16 classes are hard to balance, mind, but the dev's aren't doing a bad job. Despite the moans of many of the forums, they do listen, and affecting proper changes takes time.

Overall, it's unique, frustrating, engaging, enraging, competitive and absolutely f**cking brilliant.

Though I have to agree to some of your feeling about this game, you can't deny devs have made many game breaking mistakes which are clearly the reasons why this game was barely played mere a few days ago with something like 5k players on all platforms at peak time, after no less than 6 months of exploitation and 1 major DLC.

Free w-e numbers are eloquent enough : more than 11k players at peak time on steam, 1.7k as an average before, and 4.7k thereafter. The game is still very dividing the potential players and fixed only half of its potential buyers... UBI tripled their customers, on pc at least, which is quite encouraging but still shows how the game needs to be fixed and balanced still.

Devs couldn't make their mind about what they wanted for this game : an esport focused game balanced around 1v1 or 4v4, of course technical issues killed such an opportunity very early and are still keeping many potential players at bay, not to mention this joke of a tournament pointing out terrible balance issues while encouraging exploits with thousands of dollars, or an expensive casual game with a f2p like barely p2w cashshop (casuals are more likely playing dominions mostly).

Personally it took me 6 months to finally buy the game, after closed as open beta and free w-e testing, I don't regret neither my waiting nor my buying for I think devs will finally be able to work something good out of this game, but you can't blame random people in their right mind to keep being reluctant in buying, at least until centurion balancing as dedicated servers are in.

You still have trash tier characters that haven't received love from launch of the game. Balancing team is a joke. Save your money.

I didn't regret even for a second that I bought this game, I'm playing it every day when I come back from work, before instead I was always resting so I really found a game I'm really passionate about.

I want to learn everything I have to learn and I want to improve and this is the only game that doesn't make me angry at all, not even once, because the connection is not always great, sometimes it kicks me out of the matches, like once I was doing 17 kills and 1 death and I was kicked to the main screen when my team had 1100 points in Dominion and of course I was very upset, but on the other side, what can I do about it? nothing so just keep playing.

And as well when I die, I never get angry, because the reasons why I die can be I wasn't good enough, I wasn't lucky and I wasn't supported by my team mates and so I was alone with too many for me to handle but from each death you can learn something and improve yourself.

The only two frustrating things for me in this games are when you get attacked by all the enemy team (I personally leave people to do a 1vs1 before to intervene) and when you meet people that cannot play and so they spam the same attack over and over... so annoying like the centurion with his kick, or the Raider charging you and stunning you, very sad to see a game like this played that way.

Must agree with the dude above, despite its problems, its a heck of a game. Very immersive, uinique fighting style, also very addictive. Never regretted buying it.
