Chip damage at 18% is way too much to implement in this game.

Ubisoft team please don't make this permanent change. The chip damage increased to %18 is rediculously large. You fixed the parry issue and that alone helps tremendously with turtling players. For a vast majority of us players who do not turtle. The parrying was the biggest issue. It had way too much of a reward for little to no risk for higher practiced players.

The chip damage at 18% completely throws out having a good competitive match with an equally skillednor even higher skilled opponent. You NEED to have times of blocking an opponent and getting time to open up your window for attack.

Not everyone is a god at parrying or dodging attacks therefore needing to rely on blocks. What good is this chip damage to us if we are completely hindered by needing to block and still lose damn near a full bar of health. This is creating horrible fight experiences for me and I am no turtle by any means. Its not a good change and it takes way too much health just for blocking. Many of us aren't the best at blocking either.

This is cutting down on fight times. Leaving more mistakes on both sides. And completely ruining the feel of having a competitive fun match that is earned or honorably lost. Instead its "**** i got to run away and get out of this somehow I cant even time my attacks or defend my enemy without reaping horrible consequences that makes this whole entire fight unenjoyable cause im damn near losing just for needing to block"

Dont make this change please I am deeply dissatisfied with the chip damage increase and what major affects it has on fighting in general and completely ruining my game experience here.

Please, you have greatly fixed the turtling with parrys. As well as the stamina changes make a huge difference. This chip damage ontop of that all? Makes this way too over the top. Pleaae take this out we shouldnt be punished so severly for needing to protect our hineys for those of us who cant even block 100% of the time.

Ontop of that myself I have never had an issue with turtles in this game especially on console. The parry change does tremendous amount of change that opens players up to be more aggressive a hell of alot more. This chip damage with everything else is way too much and is seriously getting on my nerves. It ruins all the good fights I have been in and is giving no benefits to either player rather than shortening the fights ridiculously and making those of us who play strategically nonetheless need to try and block for us to even protect ourselves from not being a parry god or dodge expert. This is not because i suck this is because its ruining all gameplay , giving certain character way more damage advantage on their combos, and completely thrashing the shinobi with no health at all to just push them all to play the run away game even more seriously.

This is by far my biggest game concern and worst affect to gameplay I have experienced in all my time since launch of this game. Please show me your support community. Thanks

Xbox player so haven't played myself, but from everything I've seen and heard, I am tending to agree that 18% maybe too much damage.

18% is too less. Need to be around 25%.

Your a tweaker dude. This 18% is stupid throwing out the entire concept of a fair and skilled battle. What is "gradual" about blocking 1 combo and losing near full bars of health or damn near a full bar of health. What is "equal" about certain characters being even more abused now since their combo does more damage chip damage wise that other characters.

No way in hell should you be punished with that much health for needing to block your opponnent during a battle. I would understand a gradual 1/3 or 1/4 decline in healthbars from blocking 1 combo. Which mods claim " is current" current my ***.

There is nothing fair or equal or even making sense for losing all of that health just to block your opponnent.

Not everyone is a freak at this game nor able to parry good. Or dodge to escape therefore need to block. Mentioning back to that as well there have 1) fixed the entire reason turtling was an issue - because it was too rewarding and is not fixed 2) have made it even hard to parry so now when you cant even parry as a player right now and HAVE to block your being punished because your not the best at parrying to escape a combo attack? 3) the have made drastic changes to stamina affecting even more longevity and outcomes of fighting.

So now we get raped even more with a chip damage that no matter what your going to be losing health for nothing to inevitably lose the match or be equal terms when your either better or worse then who your fighting against?

Or even worse yet when you actuallly do encounter a equally well skilled opponent and have a great match fighting. Now its complete bs on the outcome and ruins the entire match because "warden does more chip damage than the assassin im playing ***"

Your completely throwing out the concept of a equal competitive fight now ubisoft and am ruining the whole good fight experiences in this game furthermore unbalancing this games character layout even more with different opponents and their chip damage ****ing you over even more than others.

It is completely stupid the affect of having this much health taken away from blocking a damn opponent

Once again, I'm going to bump this with hopes that some people who have dabbled in PTS 2 can please give some feedback on why chip damage should not be this high.

Yall cry change so much and this is what happens and ruins the game further.

So please, they have fixed major issues to the meta defense with stamina changes and the biggest issue of all woth turtles, the parrying.

Nothing else major to blocking should be done. I just think its rediculous you lose near a full bar of health to block 1 single damn combo

I wasn't sure If I should respond due to your name alone and you calling kweassa1 a tweaker (like what?) and other things you claim, but you seem desperate, so I'll give you the low down

After looking through some of the feedback from other users threads, about half of them had something to say about chip damage (I'll assume the other half didn't talk about it cause they didn't notice the change, which isn't good) the majority of the ones who did speak about chip damage, either said that it was good the way it was on pts2, or it needed to be increased (I myself feel it needs to be increased, or add a chip damage stat for other possibilities).

The turtle meta isn't gone dude, if anything this might just make them stronger, parry isn't the only thing that turtlers can use, it just can just put people in OOS, which is a punish on attackers not defenders, the last bar of health is where turtling is still prevelant, since you can't die from chip damage and you regen that amount.

This game is known to have problems (or is broken) the only way it's going to get better, is if new fixes are introduced, The alpha was quite something (had a fair amount of broken things, but people still wanted to play it, big things were changed, everyone isn't gone, are they?), Having a new system won't make the game lose it's playerbase, I assure you

just thought you could do with this calculation on chip damage, not every class has a combo chain of three heavies, the only ones are raider, kensei and berserker (can be more technically if you hit with lights), assuming that the heavies will take a full bar of health, like normal 18% x 3 is 54% of one health bar, that's not close to a full health bar buddy, and that's only with these three classes (granted, raider's heavies are stronger and slower than most so might do a bit more, so why on earth would you just let him hit you? avoid it or attack) this really isn't that bad though, it would take about take about 24 standard heavies being blocked to get a warden down to his last bar of health, the duel would be over at that point

you seem a little worked up, calm down dude, if your opinion really is what most people think, then you shouldn't need to worry, if it isn't, then you could do with looking at some other people's feedback, and their reasoning, and look at the possibility that you might be wrong, just don't be silly when they don't agree with you, like OfTheStone, we're here to help better the game, not blame each other

I am a PS4 player, so I don't even get to test the changes that are going to affect my whole game experience? I call BS! Not to mention, that the game plays VERY differently on the console than it does on PC. Dodging is way harder, because... well, I don't have two right thumbs, and I'm definitely not going to use a claw grip, fck that sht. also: 30 FPS vs 60 FPS... sht matters.

I think these changes will turn the game into a silly mess.. with everyone just spamming lights and heavies, especially on OOS targets, because being parried doesn't matter anymore.
Chip damage on top of that is a joke. Also dodging is slower in OOS... what am I supposed to do then? I can't dodge, I can't block, I can't parry, I can't run. might as well just grab me a drink and wait for it to be over soon... jesus.
