Hey, everyone! Steve from RedLynx here! I hope everyone is enjoying Phone Destroyer so far. We've been listening to player feedback, and working on improvements, and I'm stoked to announce that some are coming next week! 😍 Next Thursday (August 3rd), we're introducing a few new initiatives that should shake things up a bit in a good way! These aren't the only things we're working on to make the game better, though! We'll gradually roll out new initiatives as they are finished and tested. For now, here's what's up!
Season Reset 🏆
Next week, we'll be conducting our first Season Reset! This will be a soft reset - meaning that we aren't strictly resetting everyone to 0, but rather using an adjusted calculation to determine your new rank. The formula for this is (Your Rank/3)+3. So if your rank was 9, you'll be rank 6 after the reset. Rank 5 and below won't be reset, however. Season Resets will continue periodically in the future, but we haven't set a specific Season duration yet.
New Season Rewards 🎖️
As you climb ranks, you earn rewards - and as of Thursday, the rewards for each rank are much better than before! This should make people far more excited to rank up and get that sweet high-tier swag.
Adjusted Star Loss 🌟
Some players were experiencing situations where they would hit a few easy wins, and suddenly end up in a rank where they really didn't belong. In order to combat that, we've lowered the rank at which you start losing stars to 3. In the future it'll be possible to LOSE RANK. Unfortunately that feature isn't ready yet, but the ability to lose stars earlier should help players stay in a reasonable area for their skill level, and stay at a rank where they get good, fair, fun matches.
Win Streaks 🌟
Win streaks will be implemented so that when you're on a roll, winning 2 matches in a row will activate a win streak! Win streaks give you an extra star for every win! This is helpful if you're in a hurry to get to Rank 31 for the increased chance at Legendary cards, or to collect all the rank rewards before the end of the season! If you lose a match, you'll reset your win streak.
Increased Stars Required To Advance ✨
In order to make sure people aren't leveling up due to flukes, and accidentally ending up in a rank where they only get beat up, we've changed the amount of stars required to rank up. Starting at Rank 20, you'll need 4 stars to rank up. Starting at Rank 35, you'll need 5 stars to rank up. Until we implement rank loss, this is the best solution to ensure players get meaningful matches at just the right skill level, so everyone can keep having fun.
As I mentioned during the last update, Phone Destroyer is still in its early days. With that being said, changes and updates will happen periodically, and we also need to try out new things to see what works, and get a good balance. At the moment, we're going to tweak the cool down timer for watching ads to open lockers, and for PvP packs.
PvP Card Pack Timer ⌛
We're still trying to find the right balance for some things through experimentation. One thing we're going to adjust is the PvP card pack timer. We're going to shorten the wait time between earning PvP card packs from 6 hours to 4 hours.
Loot Locker Ad Timer ⌛
We'll also be shortening the cooldown timer on watching ads to open up lockers. Previously, the wait was 8 hours. Now, we'll be reducing this to 4 hours.

Great work so far.
I hit 32 and have been having a lot of trouble because I'm missing some key cards and it feels as though I've hit a paywall.
I'm currently level 8 (420/700) and haven't been playing as much due to frustrations. When I was level 7, it seemed like at least every second match I'd been getting paired up against level 9-10 players who were using lvl 3 Cartmans & Program Stans for example; this is clearly them having paid to win.
Now, I consider myself a pretty skilled player and know I'd have a much easier time if I had some key cards. Yesterday/Today's rotation FINALLY included Hookhand Clyde for example (although I don't have 700 pvp tickets).
Cards like Hookhand Clyde & Arrowstorm are top-tier, yet somebody like myself who has played for hours on hours still doesn't have them.
I don't know what a solution could be, because a card-crafting system would also allow for a pay-to-win structure, but there needs to be a way for us to trade for or be able to collect those niche cards :X

I'm glad PvP is getting some balance changes. I'm stuck at Rank 41.
I'm only level 8, and is matched against people with a higher levels all the time. Honestly,I don't stand a chance against a lvl 10 unless they screw up. All their cards are lvl 3. I can't even get my Epic cards to level 2.
And I still think we should be able to replay PvE levels. I'm not good enough to win many PvP matches. And I'm not good enough to win PvE matches either. I've spent several hours without getting one of those "Green Hand" resource card for the Sci-fi cards. And I need 9 of them just to upgrade my Program Stan once.
Feels like I'm stuck with zero progress. It is getting very tiresome.
Everything sounds great except this doesn't address the biggest issue -r the game throwers.
Those of us who reached the rank 50 early (Personally I was very late and managed to get to 50 without making a single purchase).
What happens at higher ranks is, because there aren't many people who queue at the same time, often you run into the same person.
After a couple of fights, most people seem to agree to simply let one person win (throw spells in the air, play tower type in the middle),
and the next time they match together the other person win.
This way matches end under a minute, no pressure what so ever, both players win. I've seen a couple of people who are in level 14-15-16 and even 17, I cant imagine how many games they just abused and farmed the pvp lockers like that. Given how rewards have increased for locker, and how many PvP tickets you can farm this way gives you an enormous advantage.. and of course if on top of that you were farming tickers through the pvp pack.. well I could see how you can be level 17 with level 4 minions.
This sort of ruined the game in my opinion, this wasn't thought through at all.
I am unclear on the solution.. of course the problem will go away once there are much more players, so simple chance of you running into someone will be low. Still, when you run into a level 17 and if he actually plays, he can just play his minions in the middle as lvl 4 minions are nearly twice as strong as your lvl 2s.
Im sorry but the way the game is set at the moment its a pay to win for thw rich.
Coins take for ever to stack up and it takes DAYS before you have enough to upgrade anything.
If your like me and don't mind spending real money when you like a game then this is not one you want to play.
This game is cool. It can be great but man are you greedy.
It is very expensive. Nearly 30$ for 2300 cash is way to expensive especially when the good pacj is 2500 cash. Seriously? 30$ and you cant give enough to get the good pack?
Answer this: how much profit do you make when you sell cash? (Keep out salaries and stupid comments as such). Ill tell you how much you make; 100% profit.
It isnt a physical product so you loose nothing. Your not doing anything for the cash you sell. (You can buy cash in the game. So cash means in game item you spend real $ for.).
So please tell me why you have to be greedy?
Why join the expensive games and greedy ones.
Why not be generous and make even more money then the greedy ones. Wait you can make more money?
Yes you can. How? By simply being a little more generous.
More generous offers, more lower prices all lead to more people spending money.
(Take for example castle clash. Everyday there is a special bonus on the gems you can buy. 40%,50,60,75% then back down to 45% etc.... also prices are much better.)
Even people that say they dont buy stuff in games grab a 10$ bag because its worth it.
I know its a new game. I know you want/need money but would you rather have someone with a budget spend 30$ once because its expensive and not really worth it. (Spend x gain = not worth it) or would you rather be more generous and have the same person spend 10$-12$ many times?
Thats one change that needs to happen.
Fix prices and offers for real money.
The second one is the gathering of coins.
The people that don't have money to spend, have a tight budget or cant spend any cant be left out.
For that you need to make coin gathering much MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER.
Its coming in by the coin.
Again here it cost nothing to double the amounts given.
As is the people that have lots of money and no budgets will win every time. I know and others know because when you pvp you know excatly when someone is spending according to there level and troops they have.
So it becomes a pay to win for rich people.
I've seen way to many. For every 10 pvp fights i do i loose 6 to people that use money.
Sure your pvp update will help a bit but without any generosity to give a chance to people that are not rich it wont work.
Ultimately people will play for a week then, like in my case at the moment, reach character level 5 and coming to a dead stop in level 12 of carreer mode or getting annihilated by other level 5s that spent money to get all the good stuff in pvp.
Not spending 30$ just for 2300 cash and the good pack is 2500. Nice rubbing it in the face and being greedy.
And i cant upgrade because i get no coins. In 6 hours of play or more in a day i made 300 coins. The F do you do with that? Nothing.
Sorry for the long comment but this just makes sense.
When i like a game and it has great deals i dont mind spending a bit to help the game get even better and im not the only one that does that.
People like that and the non payers account for 85% of players.
This game won't last if you stay greedy with fictional cash that doesnt cost you a dime to give away by the ton and count on the rich people with no budget to buy stuff. Nope sir. Wont last.
Please make this game great as it should be.
Sooner then later will help you a lot.
(P.s: stupid comments please refrain. We dont care if you have a gold card or if your a person on a budget. It isnt a reason to troll.

I gotta say there sure is a lot of negativity around here still. The update to me sounds fantastic, yes there's bug but this update will just make it better for all of us. If you're too high rank you can down-rank which hopefully should mean you won't be going up against super high levels anymore, and if they do fail a ton of games to get that low rank of course that means they've given away that many wins as well. I see what someone says about tossing free wins to others, personally I don't think that's the case, I right now throw matches because I know if I rank up too fast I'm going to get owned, I am currently facing people my exact level, they never toss a win back, I just don't want to be against people 5 levels higher than myself.
What I do love about this update is shorter pvp packs, the fact pvp packs are now in the same duration as the free lockers/videos, better rewards to rank up, and soon the ability to rank down. This update sounds FANTASTIC and I thank all you developers for your hard work on the game. Yes a bug here and there is annoying but I still really enjoy the game.
