i do not understand this ghost recon network thing
every few weeks since launch of the game i visit ghost recon network
i always try and create a task force
there is no option for united states in country selection ?
what do i do this is like the 20th time i have tried and i can not find united states in the selection of country's
also funny as hell as the game is about drugs but if i make my task force about drugs its listed as profanity and will not let me because ubisoft logic
the only thing profane about drugs is the prohibition but whatever ill make my task force about muppets or something because prohibition is forced on us by muppets
this is no really big deal or anything i just find this offensive to people that cherish freedom
ill just make my task force anything g rated then whatever
but can someone please tell me what i need to do to create a task force when it will not let me select united states as my country
or is ubisoft against united states as well as pro choice for drugs and freedom ?
I noticed that about a week ago myself. I don't know what I did exactly but after trying a couple of approaches to get to the site I finally saw US listed. ....a couple days later I noticed the "Vereinigte Staaten" listing but with the U.S. flag elsewhere on the page. I put two and two together at that point.
Given North America is currently 48% of their business, I'm assuming a good chunk of that is US consumers (Canada & US made up 46% in 2016 reports). My first thought was ya think they would fix that.
The game is about drugs, but the Ghost Recon Network is publicly viewable, which is why there are profanity filters. The same is in effect on the forums.
Same applies for movies and movie posters. You can make a movie about sewing people's mouth to someone else's butt, but you can't show that on the movie's poster or cover art.
Thanks for reporting this guys. I just tried it on my end and got both French and German country names in the drop-down menu. If this happens, the terms for the United States would be Vereinigte Staaten (German) or Etats-Unis (French). We've reported this issue to the team, as it can be pretty confusing initially.
