Big Concerns About Strength Of Contamination in Global Events - Please Reduce

    All

As others have mentioned I too have big concerns about the strength of contamination in Threat Level 1 & 2 (Severe & Critical Outbreaks). I am seeing the same issue in PTS 2 & 3 on console in fact it appears stronger in PTS 3.

Specifically concerns over the contamination amount that NPC's deal and specifically how it appears to multiply when more NPC's are present. Having played Hudson Refugee Camp many times now and Dragon's Nest both with Threat Levels 1 & 2 (now updated descriptions) it appears to me that this contamination is too strong. A specific situation on where this causes issues is when you go down. At times when you have multiple NPC's (rushers for example) over your body and a team mate pops recovery link, you get brought up but within a second you are down again due to the strength of the contamination. In a number of cases this is not enough time to even combat roll away to a safer area, therefore feel this needs looking at. Due to the strength and the distance this affects over it really is tough to recover from.

    Contamination

Totally agree, it's the amount of damage, the range damage is done, the DOT after you get out of the Contamination bubble. It's a bit too much.

I concur with your assessment. This is still way over powering. It should be more like sickness in Underground or contamination events in the Dark Zone. We ran dragon nest as a team of four 12 times and couldn't pass it with the classified gear. Getting downed right away after just getting picked up.

I like how powerful the contamination is.
Really makes you play different and build different.

I ran Hudson Refugee Camp with 6 piece sentry and it was fairly easy.

When they do get close it is harsh, that's why I made the sentry set.

Put in your team guy with healer set... after this everything is easy...

At first I thought the threat damage was too much but it got easier on subsequent attempts. Its new, we are not used to so it feels too mich but I think it is fine the way it is. You just have to adapt to a different style of play, thats all.

I feel the contamination damage is a little over the top. I've done Napalm Factory a few times. When you kill rushers, you can still receive a lot of DOT. It feels a little unfair that the reward for killing a group of rushers is watching your character get poisoned to down state. Either reduce the damage or the time.

I think the issue is worst at the end of the mission. Leaving the elevator to the boss room and instantly contaminated from the boss at the floor beneath you is really unfair. You have to run out the elevator and use a skill or medkit just to make it to the staircase. It's a little absurd to me I have to counter a contaminated enemy that is below or above you.

    Same here

Yes, contamination is way to strong and quick. There are too many moments with too much NPC's around you that multiplies the contamination and you are not able to dodge away or move out of the situation.
I think it should be more like the UG Sickness.

Way tooo.... and remember, now we can do it with free classified sets.... We will spend a lot of time getting them, before we can use them, so it is going to be way more difficult in the real game
