There has been countless times during both Seasons (but esp. during Season 2) where the Knights have been in the lead FOR DAYS AND DAYS TO COME and all of a sudden *magic magic* we ended up being either second or third AND YOU are still asking for evidence?Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post
Don't banana on my nuts...
On top of everything that happened with the false numbers and falss hope, the Samurai get screwed with 1 ornament. What a disaster this second season was.Originally Posted by Gray360UK Go to original post
I have noticed the same with the Samurai faction and I could just as easily assume the devs don't like the Samurai when I see that happen on a frequent basis, ehich I do. However I tend to extrapolate that this is the comeback mechanic that nerfs whichever side has the most territories so that the other two can artificially rubberband back.Originally Posted by Lumina-US Go to original post
It is the more logical conclusion rather than assuming that the devs don't like my faction.
At this point I'm just wondering why kmight went down to 18 when they hit 31 and Sams only went down to 23 when they hit 31. Sams recovered in one round and went back up to 27 the next round. If Knights only wwnt down to 23 the war would of ended completely different.Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post
This is only speculating but we had a graph showing when the factions are most active a while ago, vikings spike in the morning (UTC) and dip at night, samurai spike at night and dip in the morning while knights are at a pretty constant level somewhere in the middle of those spikes and dips all through. The samurai got their boost right behind the time that their general asset allocation spikes.Originally Posted by The_B0G_ Go to original post
Knights had -33% starting disadvantage in almost all zones we held though, I just don't know why it wasn't the same for the Sams.Originally Posted by CandleInTheDark Go to original post
I can only speculate here and assume that it might be because the Samurai population outnumber the Knights and it was at a time when more Samurai were dropping down assets compared to the Knights.Originally Posted by The_B0G_ Go to original post
Here is hoping season 3 is not as shi-te as this one has been. Two classes released that many people have found to be unfun. Complaints about connection issues, lack of players, character balance, lack of changes happening has sky rocketed. People aggrieved because the way this season ended, it seems many (i include myself) felt they were mislead as to how the determining factor decides who would win in the event of a tie.
Lastly the winning faction has minimal reward compared to the winners from season 1.
Perhaps each season should have it's own name
Season 1 - The first ever
Season 2 - The time Ubisoft got it so horribly wrong
Season 3 - The great unknown
Who knows, thats what so frustrating, the balancing mechanic just seems to randomly help certain factions more than others, I think it's too involved in the faction war.Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post
If one faction is giving a huge push and then at the end of the round most players get off, giving a hugeee penalty to stop the push isn't needed, the same goes the other way, the samurai seemed to get their comeback advantage just as their peak hours were hitting.
Like I said, who knows, I certainly don't but I'm sure they'll have some BS excuse for everything in the warriors den.
