Ok that explains assets and the tie breaker. What about the Knights going up to 31 territories and automatically losing 8 with a starting disadvantage of 33% the next round with no prayer of defending and went down to 18, fighting over the only 2 zones available for 6 hours, then still having a disadvantage the next round as well.Originally Posted by UbiNoty Go to original post
This faction war is a joke. Samurai went up to 31 and didn't lose as many as the Knights had to, they went from 31 to 23. Smells like BS to me.
This auto balance needs to be toned way down, it just won the war for Samurai. Enjoy the win the was handed to you Samurai.
Totally agree. Ridiculous level of see-sawing involved in the Faction War. I have never seen a Faction lose 10+ territories in a single turn before but that happened right after the Knights took 30+ territories. The comeback mechanic is seriously overpowered.Originally Posted by The_B0G_ Go to original post
This is where Ubisoft do indeed manipulate the result, no matter what they say to the contrary. It might not be manipulation with intent, they might not have an intended winner, but its manipulation nonetheless and to such an extent that it turns the entire concept that the result is based on player effort upside down and makes the whole war into a sad farce.
Well its obvious the penalties recieved for getting leads were not even or fair between Knights and Samurai, then they pull these new asset numbers out of their a**es and say the others aren't as up to date... last I looked with 90 mins left knights were up .2%, I seen screen shots with us up .4% at the end of the round, where and how did they get a .6% lead on us, thats a full 1% that came out of thin air.Originally Posted by Gray360UK Go to original post
That's the thing, they didn't get 1% over that time, the game was over as soon as we lost a way of winning the round outright, what we saw was the assets for the turn, what they used were assets for the round over fifteen days, the problem was we didn't see the numbers that meant anything.Originally Posted by The_B0G_ Go to original post
No one likes being cheated, even if it's a game of X's and O's.Originally Posted by EDG_Avocado Go to original post
And if knights didn't get hammered with such a massive penalty when we hit 31 territories it probably wouldnt have even been up to assets who won.Originally Posted by CandleInTheDark Go to original post
This has got me very salty.
There's not a lot else to care about. People definitely care about Ornaments and Crates, the game has little in the way of unique rewards and customization, Faction War is about the only chance you get at having something others don't have. It's also about the only thing to add any point to there being Factions and War Assets in the first place.Originally Posted by EDG_Avocado Go to original post
Regardless, people aren't annoyed because they didn't win, at least, not in every case. So what. Knights didn't win. What people are annoyed about ( and these are not habitual whiners or forum ragers, these are good guys, some of the best posters on here) is the amount of manipulation and misinformation involved in the result. Doesn't matter if it's the Faction War or an Egg and Spoon race, if you feel the result was manipulated and your chances were subject to misinformation, it annoys you.
The very thought of all the excuses on tomorrows Warriors Den makes me feel so sick I am not even going to watch it (for the first time ever) 'Oh the Samurai were clever and did this smart thing blah blah blah' .... yeah and all the Knights that fought to 31 territories were abducted by aliens and shipped off to Pluto ... tell us another one.
What a bunch of generalised nonsense.Originally Posted by kweassa1 Go to original post
