No such thing as being humble in defeat anymore, seems the modern knight has lost their chivalrous way

(rhetorical question, check these forums and Reddit, the playerbase was misled badly and is furious about it).

You guys dangled a carrot in front of the Knights and then gave it to the Samurai.

Serious BS. Utterly disgusted with you.

    1. The Americas and Europe have mostly graduated from nationalism, so they go to a faction that makes them tick.
    2. Asia-Pacific region is still heavily addicted to nationalism
    3. So you can bet almost all Japanese players go to the Samurai, and the Chinese and Koreans also usually go to the samurai since they don't have any representation.
    4. So in an area of the world which has like more than 1/3rd population of the entire world, FH games are predominantly Samurai faction
    5. Chinese, Japanese, Korean players don't sleep. (no, really, they don't)
    6. A round/season usually ends when Asia-Pacific region players are active... and these guys are Samurai.

I know you like to roleplay a lot when it comes to the Faction War, but I'm talking real human beings playing games, losing sleep over them, going to work tired over them, coming home tired but playing anyway ... being misled by every available source about their chances.

Playing longer and harder than they wanted to because they believed they had a chance, and then having this BS to put up with. I'm not a tin man in real life, I'm a guy who doesn't like to be messed around and have his time wasted by a company peddling BS disguised as a 'war'. Where is the honour in misleading an entire faction about it's chances and then proudly announcing that it all comes down to a 0.6 figure that doesn't even match the value that the players had access to?

You need to think about who this has upset. You might wanna rope all the Knights in together, but you have people like me and Candle, who have been here long enough, behaved well enough and done enough for the community to have earned a bit of credit, very annoyed by the BS that surrounded this Seasons result. If you want to brand people like us in the same way you do all Knights for roleplay reasons then I can't stop you, but you can't tell me there was honour in the misinformation from Ubisoft that caused many of the most dedicated, decent, genuine people on these forums to go out of their way to try to win something that was never theirs to win.

Real people lost real time, real sleep, real hope, real trust and real faith ... not just some fantasy tin men that exist in a made up fantasy version of the Faction War.

If your response is supposed to more of the trollish nonsense from another thread, it makes no sense. My comment has no hint of bitterness, and you post this? If you're going to troll people (or rather, *try* to), you really should remain coherent while doing so. Nonsensical rambling just makes you look silly.

I think us Samurai are just getting defensive, because it's like you're indirectly implying we didn't deserve a win at all.

For the record, I completely agree that the War is broke as hell.

It was a good effort by both factions on both ends, but the Vikings ended up playing spoiler and we went to a tiebreaker at the end.

As it stands, the rule in a tiebreaker is to give the win to the faction who deployed the most assets in the final round. And on the website, these numbers (such as assets) aren't always the most up-to-date or clearly reflective of the current state of things. Keep in mind, with our faction war update, faction war clarity and clarity of the faction war rules are some of the things we want to address.

I know some of you are feeling frustrated with how things played out. You stayed up late, planned out hours around your busy schedule to make time for a match (or 5), maybe said no to a night out with your friends, gave up sleep, passed over time you could have spent in realistic dominion, forwent just chilling and not raising your blood pressure to dangerous levels. I get it all, and it sucks. But there's always next time. I'll be cheering for you in S3 knights.

Maybe, maybe not. Ya see, since the faction war is totally borked, the season winner can easily be determined in the last turn of fifth round. Let's take a wild guess what happens if a good portion of one faction is asleep or working, while another doesn't have so many players MIA. I'm gonna say...the faction with the most players present during that last turn is gonna take it. Logic dictates, ya know? Oh, and the last turn/end of round bonus for de0loyed assets...yeah, that's definitely gonna skew things even further towards the night owls/early risers. So you tell me, how exactly is this system balanced and fair towards the entirety of the playerbase? Trick question, don't answer that 😏
