My friend and me really love to grind tier 1 mode so far. HOWEVER, there is one issue: Whenever someone with a really low level 35-49 joins, we often just kick him because the punishment in points earned is really severe. Today we kicked a lot of people just because of that sole reason. It feels really weird, imho it should allways be an incentive to play with others. Imho we should just have adaptive xp gains.
Also i wonder when there will be more tiers added? We REALLY love to grind, its just a lot of fun, but i think as soon as we hit tier one there will be no incentive to grind more.
Or you could just not care about score that much and not kick people for dumb things like that. You might even find that you can have even more fun helping those lower level people. Maybe even make some new friends!
Or maybe just close your squad off from the public that way you don't have to bother kicking them out.
Id love to agree but getting only half the exp. is not a trivial thing once you reach the <10 range.Originally Posted by DexLuther Go to original post
I'd have to agree with Dex on this one.Originally Posted by DexLuther Go to original post
IMO, kicking folks because of their Tier level is discourteous (to put it politely) and only contributes to the bad experience open matchmaking has become for many people. There are less crude methods to vet people.
I'm at Tier 15 and routinely play with others that are much further behind my rank than me. I actually warn them about my Tier level since it directly affects the level of difficulty for them. .....but I don't have a problem with it.
I would think for two guys who like to "grind" (and fear the loss of the journey by reaching Tier 1), you would welcome ways to extend the experience.

Heck why not help them finish missions and earn a lot more Tier XP that way?
I miss the days when experienced players took joy out of taking newer or less experienced players under their wing and showing them the ropes. The player base of so many games these days is so self-centered it's kinda sad to be honest.
Have to agree with this. The OP was about a call for adaptive XP which would create an incentive to play with others with different tier rankings. Also, let people play they want to play. It's not like you bought their copy of GR:W for them.Originally Posted by jsocfrog Go to original post
