    TF Tags on console debate

Sooooo, I recently read comments from users saying UbiSoft stated this stupid ID# in place of tags on consoles is intended. Well, it's not. See list of known issues for proof. Either the users had/have it wrong or they have been lied to.

The "excuse" people give that Ubisoft 'gave', offensive tags, blah blah was clearly BS. Like I said in another thread, every other game that has this, allows names not numbers for tags. Other games sites just like GRN even have a censoring system just as GRN does...

A moderator said that this was "working as intended," and that we can't have our TF tags on the consoles because of "licensing" or something like that. I think everyone just assumed that this was because of the potential for offensive TF tags, but I'm not sure if that is the real reason or not.

One thing I've learned about Ubi is that the forum moderators often repeat what the developers tell them, even if it is clearly wrong (e.g. classic helo controls are the "same as before," when they clearly aren't). You have to take everything they say with a grain of salt.
