Sick of uninterruptible bashes, kicks knockdowns, all of them.

It's not that they're in the game at all but the risk reward is so stupid right now. This game won't be great if they can't figure out a better balance.
Don't even get gud me. Duel against warden yesterday in a small area, gets me against a wall three shoulder bashes in a row for six lights. This isn't Street fighter I can't jump over him or teleport behind him.
I have lost all desire to play Dominion cause of these bashes too. You should be able to win an occasional 1v2 of you're good but if one of the heroes have a bash, forget about it. Good luck trying to continuously dodge and block at the same time.

I know heroes have their strengths and weaknesses and some make for better matchups but these moves are cheap.

Maybe I'm just not good enough but playing a warden, shinobi or cent who knows how to cancel, feint and execute the core mechanics of the game well is a nightmare.

While some characters have to rely on feinting and parries, other characters can shove and stun while draining your stamina, and not theirs for some reason, eat you with lights. Or even worse knock you down to get a free heavy, yet again, knocking only your stamina down.

THESE CHARACTERS SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUOUSLY THROW OUT BS MOVES WHICH POSE LITTLE RISK

Go play tekken or mkx then.

Stop whining about the characters in for honor. If you don't like the play style and move sets there are lots of button smashing fighting game you can play

Either learn how to counter each warrior or move on and stop the crying

Do you know how to read and interpret the sentence. I said this isn't Street fighter, so you interpret as I wish it were and you assume I can't handle the vortexes because I'm button smashing. I'll leave you to think about that (he said as kindly as possible). Anyone who has been playing long enough knows button smashing gets you no where in this game. This game should be about skill and mind games, moves like the wardens require none of that.
Why do you think these moves that GUARANTEE damage are ok in a fighting game like this. Nothing in this game should be free damage.

Ex. If you think it's fair that the LB gets a free shove and light after every block then you're an idiot.

    LOL

You openly admit you know the move sets. Guess you need to "git gud" and not get caught in the spams.

Crying about it isn't going make you better and if you have played as much as you think, you wouldn't even need to make a post like this.

Go practice with lvl 3 bots or play pvai if you can't handle it

I think you would do better in tekken or your fav street fighter

Either accept this is how the game was designed or move the f on

This is why meaningful conversations can't happen on these forums.

Splugeking has some very valid points, and rocketfish wants to use the age old "get good" and insult him, defending the mechanics for... who knows why?

Not to mention the assuming that's going on. Spluge never once said he's bad or has trouble with the characters, he said they're imbalanced on a fundamental level. And he's right.

I'm a lawbringer main, and I refuse to use the block-->shove combo because it's cheap. It's severely imbalanced and I want it gone.

In fact, CC abilities in general are imbalanced due to their singular counter; Dodge.

Every other attack in the game has at least two avenues of action. UB attack? Dodge or parry.
GB? CGB or light attack. Normal attacks? Block, dodge, or parry.

Cc abilities are sadly the only way to break a turtle, so they're accepted. The new defensive meta patch will likely make them the "new" problem.

Thanks for letting us know your thoughts on shoves/bashes leading to low risk guaranteed damage. brashtralas is correct, we need to be careful not to overuse the "git gud" argument. If you have a helpful way for OP to avoid/escape these situations in-game, please feel free to share specific tactics for countering these moves.

It's pretty simple......the game was created on these mechanics so.......if you don't like them play tekken.

The devs have gone out of there way to balance issue around the "Core mechanics" of the game. Theses are never going away since it would be a different game like oh let's say tekken.....

So get over yourself and realize these "spam" moves are mind games for the defender to avoid. Isn't that what you want....

Just because a more skilled person destroys you in that way, would suggest he won that mind game and guess what, if you get out of the spam, you won the mind game.

I can't wait to see what your going say when defmeta changes come.

Just to weigh in on it, I do agree it's really sucking the fun from the game. I have a 2.5 k/d and know how to play, but atm I feel the game was honestly 10 fold more fun when revenge wasn't nerfed into the dirt, and when move unblockable spam characters like cent weren't in the game. It's why I don't bother with elimination, where it used to be my favourite game mode.

So after I said quit assuming you just went right ahead and assumed. And the previous response was from a developer, so explain that one, would you?

    Take the warden for example(my first "main," and a character I still play consistently);

His bash--->light--->bash--->light--->bash/gb on reaction is nearly impossible to escape for some characters with poor dodge, UNLESS you roll away and reset the fight to neutral. Who's that benefit? Whelp, the warden that came out unscathed and can start again.

I get called a noob if I refuse to do it to people because it's cheap. It's really the wardens only viable tactic aside from zone attack.

Basically the game has gone from trading blows and blocking to spamming bashes and gb back and forth. You can probably count the number of full chain attacks completed by all characters in a dominion match on one finger.
