    Set AI difficulty in multiplayer

Instead of not being able to earn exp in custom match, why not allow us to set difficulty of AI in multiplayer games? Level one bots are simply not fun to play against.

We've definitely gotten the suggestion over to the team. A lot of players are keen on seeing varying levels of AI difficulty in multiplayer and have made us aware of that. Should we get any new information on that, we'll let players know.

This is a good idea. I think the harder the bot difficulty, the better the rewards players should earn, though.

Plus, friendly bots have proven to be pretty inept compared to enemy bots in ranked multiplayer. Almost always, it ends up being me versus practically the whole enemy team, and it gets really frustrating - I'm constantly trying to revive my teammates (who'll get killed at the start of the match) while trying to avoid getting swarmed by the enemy team. It'd be awesome to be able to set friendly bot difficulty so it's on par with the enemy in ranked multiplayer.

Can we also please have the option to fully customize bots in Custom Matches (gender, armor, weapon, color scheme, emotes, executions, etc., etc.), and the ability to choose which AI faction is attacker and which is defender for Dominion and Skirmish? It'd be a real nice touch if all customized bot heroes were displayed during the face-off in the loading screen, too.

Some of us have been requesting these features for months. It'd be a great way to give players the freedom to play out epic fantasy battles exactly the way we want. It'd be a ton of fun.

We've forwarded the suggestion of choosing the AI faction to the team, but full customization of bots, down to their cosmetics, is likely going to be a low priority to the team when compared to the hero balancing and stability updates. While focus towards developing the feature is unlikely, it's still certainly a possibility for the future.

That's completely understandable. The issues you mention should take priority over adding something like fully customizable bots. Having full customization would be preferable, but I'd even be happy with just having the ability to select their gender and color scheme.
