    10 ranked games in.

    Hello guys.

Before you go read further, note that this is my observation post or something like that.

Anyways, I've played my 1st 10 games to unlock my rank. So, I've gotten Gold 3 - is that good? Moving on. Few things that I noticed 1st game in - players are much more serious, so I'd consider this a pro, since when you play competitive game mode you play to win, right? Next thing I noticed is 5 random dudes usually do better than 2-3 players in squad and fillers. I don't know does that count on higher ranks but that's how I felt when I played. Those guys either play on team speak or don't want to talk to you. Also, I'm not very FPS-y person, so I think all games I won were slower paced.
And last but not least - skill gap matters. Maybe that will change now that I have ranked. Now, I don't think anything negative when veterans/good players get upset. I get them, you play to win, doing your best just for potato like me to mess up your game. I can assure you, there is nothing worse than feeling where you are outclassed by your opponents and you drag your team down. Although I quit one match, due to teammates basically being ****s(1st trolling on comms then C4-ing the team) - I mean, okay you got 2 guys who are new to this but you can just kick me, I don't mind.

Also, I've learned trick or two, so I guess it'll come in handy when I play casuals.

    So that's it then,
    Cheerio!

Gold is pretty good considering this was your first 10 ranked games. Incase you don't know the system it goes copper-bronze-silver-gold-platinum-diamond with .5% of players reaching diamond. The system is based solely on wins so when you end a ranked match you will either gain or loose points depending on if you won or lost the match. once you hit the required amount of points you will move up in rank. In my opinion there is a big skill gap between most of the ranks. For the mot part a Silver player will be destroyed by a higher tier gold player. Since I'm a 3x diamond player I can defiantly say this is noticeable in casual where you can just demolish silvers and golds without a problem because they don't have a full grasp on the game yet. But so since you have been ranked in gold you will most likely play with other golds and low tier plats. The hardest part isn't getting to platinum, its the grind to diamond lol. Don't worry to much about getting to plat your first season though. Just try to get the hang of the game and watch other platinum players since you can learn a thing or two from the higher ranked guys since ranked is much more competitive and you need to know more then just how to shoot. There are completely different strats used in ranked that you wont see used much by low levels in casual. Once you know what your doing and really get into the game its fun to play ranked and to play as a team with those willing to. So just have fun and Good luck In your ranked adventures.
