Lag between contract and daily orders' update | Forums

Hi everyone!

In game, the orders' timers show that the contract orders will change this night at 4 a.m. GMT/UTC and the daily orders will change tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. GMT/UTC. Why is there a 5 hours lag between the contract orders' update and the daily orders' update? Before patch 1.09, I remember they were changing at the same time of the day (daily orders changing each day and contract orders changing every other day except saturday, of course). Is that change intentional? Is the dev team aware of this?

I'm in Europe and on PC if that matters.

Not sure, but I'll make a note to the team to look into it. Is there a 5-hour delay with every new daily order update? (ie: it happened today, and yesterday and will probably happen tomorrow?)

Yes, the 5 hours delay was there yesterday, is still there today and probably will be there tomorrow. At this moment, the daily orders will be updated in 23 hours, 22 minutes and the contract orders will be updated in 42 hours, 22 minutes. So the updates are 19 hours apart instead of 24 hours.

The changes to contract orders in 1.09 (which are great, by the way ) probably messed up their synchronisation with daily orders...
