Single Salvage Currency

To make it simpler to upgrade secondary heroes, we are shifting from 3 Faction Salvage currency to a single Salvage currency.
All the different Faction Salvage you currently have will be summed up and transformed to Salvage.
This Salvage can be used in any hero from any faction.
Developer comments: We wanted it to be easier for players to use their extra salvage. So we've decided to merge all faction salvage currencies into only one. This will also bring more flexibility for the players to progress any character of the roaster.

Are you kidding me!? This does nothing to help us, and doesn't even address the issue. WE HAVE TOO MUCH SALVAGE.

There have been multiple threads asking for ways to spend excess salvage with customization options. Clumping it all together into 1 giant sum of nearly 400,000 salvage in my case helps how? I have 11k gold and 400,000 salvage. That is the problem.

There's all kinds of ways to spend gold on fun things, there's no way to keep up with it, but there nothing to spend salvage on after you've upgraded some gear.

Ha speak for yourself. Months of grinded drops can't even max out 2 heros gear. I've dismantled literally thousands of gear, never leveling up anything even once since the new gear system until I could get guaranteed best gear. I just finally got both shugoki and kensei rep 5 today. All that gear maxed out kensei and 2 items of the shugoki. It's a fricken rip off really, so idk why you're complaining unless you literally maxed out every heros gear? If not then you make no sense honestly, cause if you max out say a Warden but then decide to main raider now the dismantling can go towards your new interest in maxing raiders gear.

I think salvage should be able to be spent on outfits and changing looks on an item. Maybe double the cost of what it costs in steel.

@TheNineFingers I share the same opinion. I think we talk towards the more dedictated player base, which spend some hours everyday playing FH. If that is the case, then you will accumulate way more salvage then you can possibly need. Especially after you chose a specific hero to be your main.
I would therefore also highly appreciate some sort of alternative to spend that left over salvage for something useful or anything at all really
Including it as currency in the general store with just maybe 2-3* the steel amount would seem fair from my perspective. Or just add a unique store only for exclusiv salvage items.
Hope the FH-DevTeam can adress this clearly high community request in the near future. Thx and out

Simple fix, inplement a "barracks" or in game "trader" so you can trade steel for salvage or salvage for steal at a fair rate.

The condensing of salvage into a single currency is only the first step in our plans for future salvage options and uses. We want to make it feel like it has a purpose, and will be making further updates to salvage so it's not just sitting around in your inventory.

How? I have 3 heroes maxed out and still could max few more if I had gear i want and steel. I have thoustands of garbage, ooops salvage, in inventory
