The Division enemies have an armour bar where is the players?

This is truly a great game, it's not without faults but at least there working hard to correct them. What we need though is an armour bar for the players because currently when were shot at by the enemies our health drains at an unbelievable rate. It takes us quite some time to kill them but they can down us in no time at all. I know we have gear with armour stats but what good is it, we have to remove the enemies armour before hacking away at there health but they just remove our health straight away. Please give us armour and health like elites have. Come on lets balance things properly.

That's not how player armor works...

I think what battlingdan2 is saying is that there's no balance with damage dealt ~vs~ damage taken. How many shots does it take to get a heavy's armor down and get the kill? If you stand toe to toe you go down way before the heavy does.

    Just my 2 cents.

If you stand toe to toe with a regular red enemy in a legendary mission you will die too, and yet he has no armor.

PvE is a poor estimate for whether player TTK is balanced or not as all PvE enemies in this game have largely exaggerated stats, outside of the most basic difficulties.

Why are you face-tanking NPC'S? This game is a "cover-based, tactical rpg shooter", which means that you need to take cover and use tactics to succeed. Pretty simple to understand really. Also the Stamina is broken at the minute and it doesn't matter if you have 3k or 9k, NPC'S are gonna take you down if you are standing right next to them.

Who mentioned anything about tanking anyone. If you fire from cover you can still get wrecked, it may take a little longer but it happens. it's a thought about us having an armour bar not an argument.

I'm not arguing, just explaining the situation. If you're gonna solo any mission without the right balance between Firearms and Electronics (because Stamina is really not that important) you are gonna struggle to complete it on its most difficult level. The game was not designed to play solo, whether playing PVE or PVP, so in my opinion the enemies health/armour is perfect. If they were any weaker than they are now, it would make the game too easy.

Oh and about the armour bar. I don't know how it will benefit anyone. Why would we need a bar that represents only 30% of our overall toughness? If every shoot lands as a headshot then the bar wouldn't even go down, so it just seems like a wasted addition to the game and the calculations it would take to show it working would be another element of the game open to bugs.

This strays away from my point, it's a cover based shooter. But even when in cover enemies have 100 percent accuracy and it doesn't take them long to rip you down even when trying to move to avoid the line of fire. Yes we have Overdose, healing stations, med kits even. Let's not stray off the beaten track and keep it simple. The enemies have armour bars, we don't. In the name of balancing the game lets make the armour on our gear really mean something and give us what the enemies have "an armour bar" as well as our health bar. Let's use the scenario although this deviates from the fact this is a cover based shooter. An enemy runs round it takes one person some time to kill them why? Because we have to strip off there armour first. If we run round how long does it take for us to be killed. Not long at all. They have armour and balancing has been an issue for a long time. Simple solution give us an armour bar. I don't want to be as tough as the Npc's time to kill them isn't an issue. Time to be killed is.
