    Warrior's Den Agenda & Live Update 1.09.01

    Hey everyone,

    Here is a rundown of some things happening tomorrow including the release timing (8AM ET / 12:00 UTC - downtime of 1.5hr) and notes for Live Update 1.09.01.     Live Update v1.09.01 (All Platforms) Release Notes
    Releasing on July 20 at 8:00 AM EDT / 12:00 UTC with an expected downtime of 1.5 hours, as this also includes the release of the v1.09 patch on XB1+PS4 and an additional maintenance.

    Raider

    • Stampede Charge minimum connection time delayed to 300ms (from 100ms)
    • [Bug Fix] Fixed the “host” advantage on Stampede Charge into Wall


    Developer Comments: Raider’s Stampede Charge used to be pretty difficult to land from Sprint. Some characters with average mobility, could avoid the charge just by running around. In an effort to improve the success rate of the move we’ve made changes that allowed it to connect 100ms into the startup at the earliest which may look instantaneous under poor networking conditions. To address this, we’re delaying Stampede Charge minimum connection timing to 300ms. We’ve also fixed the “host” advantage bug causing the Stampede Charge into Wall to get cancelled against the “host”.

    Warlord

    • Crashing Charge minimum connection time delayed to 300ms (from 100ms)


    Developer Comments: *Warlord Crashing Charge had a similar set up as the Raider’s Stampede Charge. It was however less obvious because of the move’s other characteristics such as tracking. *

    Duel

    • Revenge inactive in Duel mode


    Developer Comments: Given the community’s feedback on 1v1 Revenge and the good reception of the change done in the Public Test 1, we’ve decided to disable Revenge in Duel. As a side effect, in Custom Match Revenge will be off by default and can’t be activated. This is a known issue that will be fixed in the next update.

    Yeah ... You know that's great and all but ... Centurion is still in the game, you know?
    You know, that char that only flaws is his life pool and not having super armor on certain hits?
    You know, that char that completely breaks the meta thanks to vortexes, unlockables, variable timings and feints and yet can also completely abuse of it with his insane punish after light AND HEAVY parry?
    You know, that char that almost consume no stamina what so ever but that drains ours like a mad man?
    You know, that char that got the fastest heavys of the game?
    You know, that char that constantly stuns you so you can't see ****?
    You know, that char with and insane tracking?
    You know, that char with a zone attack so freaking wide you got hit even if you are almost literally behind him?
    You know, that char that can completely abuse of cheap cheesy tricks such as the infinite combo on a wall and great glitchy unlock techs?
    You know, that char that also has probably the most over powered feats of the game?
    You know, that char that literally made plenty of people stop playing the game?
    You know, that char that is absolutely ridiculous in 1V2 situations or more?


    Yeah, you know ... THAT char.

    Yes it is easier to complain in the forums than learn to play against a Centurion.
    Stop crying like a baby and go practice.
    Centurion is no longer OP. It is actually pretty balanced. With the updates they made in patch 1.09 all the major issues with him are solved.
    You can't let noobs opinions ruin the characters anymore, Ubi.

    afraid of any nerf so no one realizes that you have no skill.

    For Honor is for Ubi a "how I make it wrong simulator".
    But well the ladder slide down costs now stamina, could no longer see the whole threads of the people who complained.
    The 3 months data collection has paid off

    Ahh so that's interesting to know.

    So Stampede Charge has two components, as in activation phase and "connection" phase.... so previously it was 500ms(0.5s) activation time @ 100ms(0.1) connection time... and it's now changed to same 500ms activation, but at 300ms(0.3s) connection. I wonder if other common attack skills all work the same way...?
