Well, what's stopping them from releasing the real numbers? I mean after all it was them who removed actual player count from the game after release.
But I guess if Trump can get away with saying it, why not Ubi?
"Connectivity Issues?"
Saaaad
"Matchmaking?"
Did not happen
"Centurion?"
Confefe
its not 95%, thats too extreme, its near 80% still a very bad number.
Honestly this game should be F2P, it already has a free to play in game economy, i dont feel like the 60$ i payed for it was worth all the problems. (the real value of the actual game experience is 20$)
Also in a economical way this could make a lot of money from ubisoft. No one with brain is going to buy this game, not in this state and not with the ammount of bad reviews it has, only free to play can rebuild the players since they ALREADY lost hope on this, no one is going to buy a broken game with such bad reviews and notices, but if they had nothing to lose (f2p) they can get into the game and at least test it.
As a fan but always giving honest objective opinions here are two things.
1. I would say at least 50% + have left so far.
2. The devs will never give the numbers that are playing on average because they truly don't matter until the monetary support is not there anymore for future content
3. They would have to check the data and they are working on it LOL sorry Ubi...Couldn't resist
Well played.Originally Posted by WARRIOR_238 Go to original post
95% on steam confirmed.
One of the ubi mods on this forum said that was a lie, so we asked him to share their chart. Never happened. They have hidden the online playerbase on the ingame social screen a long time ago, they said it was never intended to be there, we all know that's another lie.
This product has had major losses since open beta. The amount of people that played beta was huge, but they were smarter than us and realized connectivity was an issue. Hence the great difference between beta players and final realease. Right there Ubisoft lost a lot of people and they will continue to do so. Why? Because it's been 5 months and they haven't fix the real bad thing this game has and that they claim it is priority, the connection. What makes it even worse and non constructive at all is that at first they blamed the players internet speed or configuration. Attacking, threatening and even banning forum users for bringing the truth about their actions doesn't help either.
What's this 80% based on? According to steam charts the peak players was 45923 and the average in the last 30 days is 1327. That's a 97% difference. I realize steam isn't the only way to play it on PC or in general but I dont see why there would be a difference between platforms. If there is a difference I bet it's within 5% or so, theres not a chance in hell its more than 10%.Originally Posted by AzureSky. Go to original post
all the games have a normal decrease in players after launch, open beta had more players than launch.Originally Posted by Antonioj26 Go to original post
If you take in mind that numbers of expected drops you get the 80% still its a high number and ubisoft should make some kind of netcode fix + marketing with a disccount bundle to get more players, or free weekend of for honor for people to try the new code and see if they like the game.
