I'm running 9.3.5 too on iPhone 5, starting to shows its age now.

Hope they didn't first offer the save option and afterwards informed everyone about the correct choice.

Probably, that's often the case. I haven't logged in since yesterday morning.

I've got the latest version on my iPhone 6 and adverts have stopped showing up now.

Did they stop with the latest update or more recently?

Hi Riders, the ads issue has been resolved with the latest update released last week. Players who've made a purchase should not be seeing any ads, and the frequency of ads for everyone else has also been reduced Please do let us know in case you're seeing too many ads after the update.

As a token of apology to our players who should not have been seeing ads (thanks to their purchase/s), we've added the Hillbilly Killer outfit in your inventory. We hope you have killer races after receiving the outfit Please do select the 'Server Save' option once the save-prompt shows up.

I still have the issue then, nothing changed with the new update for me, still seeing ads just like before.

Where did you get the notification?

Are people still getting ads? or is it just me now!! lol

maybe us that already have it don't even get the popup, as there's no change in the savegame

dunno, just hinking of a possible motive for the coincidence of people that already have the outfit not getting the popup..

A few thoughts on all this:

It took them about six weeks to "fix" the "bug". Considering that ads are paid for clicks/views, us players probably don't even want to know how much money they earned with this stunt, which was and is illegit to all the players that had bought stuff before.

Now they offer us an outfit for compensation. An outfit for earning money for six weeks by breach of contract.

Ubisoft, thank you very much, how very generous and fair of you. Yay!

Well, I guess it makes sense now that I haven't gotten the option to choose server side sync, I already own that outfit.

TapJoy is offering double the gems right now, but unfortunately anything that involves watching a video or directs you to the App Store is not paying out. This has been an issue for me for just about 10 months. Has anyone else been having trouble with this and has there been any explanation/resolution to it?
