Squad mechanics were better in practically every military shooter on PS2 and PS3.

I don't know what they did to SAMs, I used to avoid 9/10 missiles, before I stopped playing a month after release. Now I get hit by 99/100.

What frustrates me most, you destroy a mortar installation get into the Helo and as you take off you get nailed by the same instalation you just destroyed

What is really frustrating is that most people here will tell you that it is how the Devs envision it and it how the game is supposed to be played. Hell, even if you want to play the game run&gun you would get mow down as quickly as you do now trying to be strategic/tactical and there is no enjoyment (unless you are a masochist of sorts) hiding behind cover waiting for your teammates to have all the fun mowing down the enemy when you get into a heavy firefight.

I am also with the OP, big bugs don't really affect me all that much but the little ones do. that DNA guided bullet that happens to find you even if under hard cover. Or the bullet that kills you while the enemy has his weapon pointed at the wall and you are on the opposite wall. Or that one where you can kill the enemy by shooting at his big toe but when alerted he could take a full mag on his chest (wearing no armor but a simple wife beater shirt).

But I am wrong since that has not happen to anybody else but us whiners.
