    Option to hide Quickchat

Would ubisoft consider giving players the option to hide quick chat entirely?

Personally I wish I could just turn the thing off. I have never personally found it to be particular useful in any sense, as it seems to now only serve as a platform for irrelevant spam from angry people.

For example - In a brawl situation, me and the remaining player locked in a bitter duel for victory. The opponent has the edge on the fight, consistently defeating my every move. Near death, bloodied and beaten i have little time left. Suddenly the enemy forgets himself and positions himself fatally near a wall of spikes. Over-confident and taunting my last breaths, I see my opportunity and with a final shove he is impaled.

Grest moment, until immersion is then quickly ruined by a series of sarcastic 'Wow!' spams in the bottom of the screen...

What do people think? Anyone else like to have this option?

(I get environment kills are generally frowned on but at the end of the day it's part of the game and desperate times call for desperate measures on occasion!)

I completely agree. I rarely ever see chat used in any kind of positive way or for what it is intended. People tend to just spam the triple Wow! when you upset them, or the triple Thanks!/Sorry! when they want to be sore winners. I don't see it being particularly difficult or problematic for gameplay to simply add an option to shut off chat on an individual basis. If the option gets added, people can be as toxic as they want, and people just trying to have fun don't have to be a part of it.
