Either way, it's impossible to achieve full stats by just adding an attachment.

Good videos! I really need to experiment with more of the guns, I'm not far off finishing all the missions now and I have been using the same loadout for most of the game! My preference is:

    P416
    SR25
    P227

Though I swap the SR25 for the Mk249 (but only while at a safe house ) for convoy and radio defense missions.

After playing with different weapons for a long time, I settled on these myself:

M4 - The ACR was my previous favorite but after waffling between the two I settled on the M4. IIRC, while it was a close call , the increased fire rate and handling (in the configuration I was using at the time) won me over.

Mk14 - Simply put, I find it very versatile. I am accurate with it out to 400 meters (with the T5XI scope) and with the G28 scope, I can use it as a shorter range sniper and CQC weapon with the red dot. .....and the selective fire to fully auto is very useful in that respect. I'm also a fan of the real Springfield M1A1 so there's that subjective reasoning as well.

1911 - What can I say about this one. It's not my favorite gun because of the traits in the game but being an owner and fan, I usually pick the 1911 in games. .....silly, right? THe fact is that I hardly use the sidearm when playing and when I do, it's not in firefights. If needed, I use the FiveSeven due to lethality and magazine capacity.

Imho the P414 is a bad Choice when engaged.
Unfortunately Ubi found it funny to call it an improved Version of the M4 and then wreck its Stats.

Great write up and vid, thanks!

I really wish they had a tri-pod attachment.

Maybe one of your teammate could set up next to you and act like a spotter. HAHA, I'm asking too much.

You mean bi-pod? .....yeah, that would be nice especially if it affected accuracy.

Good vids, my kit through the 83 h of my play.
Tar-21 w/ nube tube. Its one of the quietest of the assault class, A+ in control. Personally my favorite.
M1891, I know you don't like bolt actions I agree on what you said what if you miss, but this sniper rifle I think has one of the least amount of bullet drop. This lets me hit target beyond 600m ez.
5.7 USG. I love the lady killer but didn't like the color, so i rock the default variant.

    My honorable mentions
    AK-12
    SR3M
    G28

Great videos LightwaveAl, thanks for sharing those. I tried the ACR and Mk14 for some short stretches, but didn't stay with them all that long so I'm definitely no expert when it comes to reviewing them. Most of this is personal preference as you said. I settled on the Mk17 (FN SCAR-H) as my primary for most situations, and the SR-635 (which is really the KAC PDW) as my secondary for building interiors and close quarters and such. The game categorizes the SR-635 as an SMG, but it's actually a very nimble assault rifle. Love it.

Loved the Mk17 ever since i came across it. Fantastic range, accuracy, and damage output for an AR. I tried some of the semi-auto sniper rifles such as the Mk14 and the SR25, but just ended up going back to my trusty Mk17. Suits my playstyle for GRW perfectly.

I have to admit that I never did give the M4 a fair look, and I'm seeing a lot of players give positive feedback about it. Just to change things up a bit, I might invest some time with the M4 and see how it works for me.

Crap, wonder who's lame brained idea that was. The game gets harder the further down the tiers we go, so you'd assume we'd keep the same weapon stats to begin tier mode with. Thanks for the info.
