No Access to Tier 1 Mode | Forums

So my displayed character level is 31 (despite the maximum level being 30). I didn't think anything of it as it was harming anyone and, compared to some of the community demands it wasn't really a priority.

However, when Tier 1 was released this appears to have stopped me accessing the it as I don't count as having reached level 30.

I opened a ticket with Ubisoft support on the day the update was released and, after various communications involving screen shots and asking technical questions (some of which I answered multiple times) I was told it was being looked into. When I asked if there was some sort of time frame for it being being rectified (days, weeks, months, next patch, etc) I was simply told that I had been passed along and I was assisting the community by bringing it to their attention.

So, my question - is anybody else in the same boat? And if so, anybody else manage to get a more helpful timeframe of when they are going to fix it?

I have the season pass, reached level 30 before either expansion was released, completed both both the main game expansions in full on exteme and have completed all achievements. Now, I'm repeating missions solo or playing with people who are effectively on a harder difficulty and earning rewards for it with no indication of when I'll be able to join them. I'm not asking for a timescale etched in stone, but an idication would be nice - this is a great game and things will inevitably go wrong, but stock answers from the support team aren't the best customer service.

We are aware of this issue and it IS being looked into. I know this isn't as detailed a response as you were probably hoping, but please just know we are working on it.

It looks like an excellent update but it is extremely frustrating to being waiting with no estimate of when the issue might be resolved.

Just curious... you said that you are level 31, so did you get a full 30 levels worth from the main game (and only 1 from the DLCs)? Or did you get more than 1 of those levels from the DLCs?

It seems to work for everyone I know at level 30 or higher, but they all got a full 30 levels from the main game before doing the DLCs and getting up to level 35. So maybe the game doesn't think you are level 30 yet....

By the time Narco Road came out, the in-game level for my character was displaying level 31 despite the maximum being 30.

I then completed both Narco Road and Fallen Ghosts and my character level in the base game remained at level 31 throughout.

It's possible that if I created a second character and grinded it up to level 30 then Tier 1 would unlock for that character as it wouldn't have surpassed the unlock level. However, if it's going to be a quick fix then I don't fancy having to do that - hence why I was looking for a more specific answer.

I have the same problem and I cant access Tier1 mode. The access page of the mode tells me that I have to reach level 30 to play Tier1. I have already told the support team about this problem.


Here is my situation.

・Im a PS4 player.
・I dont own the two major DLC.
・I jamped to level 50 past level 30 (I mean I had never reached level 30). However I dont remember what level I was when I became level 50 but I can use all skills.

So, after several weeks with no update I'm still waiting to be able to play Tier 1 mode.

Ubisoft, if there any update on when we will actually be able to play the mode? I understand that it's not necessarily an easy fix, and that you may not be able to give an exact timeframe... but a rough guess?

I was really looking forward to Wildlands since it's announcement, I preordered the Gold Edition and I've completed everything there is to complete as it really is a fantastic game (despite some teething problems). However, this is starting to become a bit of a joke - not only can I not play Tier 1 mode like everybody else, but the last couple of weeks have been challenges to get a booster for the mode I still can't use. How much longer do you think it'll take?

Hi Wfeltham, I am also experiencing this same issue. I have completed the main campaign, Fallen Ghost and reached level 38 before Tier 1 mode was introduced to the game. I have sent tickets to support with no resolve, Like you I have been looking forward to playing the Tier mode, working towards rewards available from this game play.

Sounds like a really sucky bug , so sorry to hear that. I hope Ubi sort that soon.
