My god your sister is amazing.For giving you such a great gift and for the quality of the shield.
So in terms of the details they match the details of the emblem of the knights of Ashfeld spot on. The Green Representing Knowledge and strength and the yellow For Hope and Stability.And she has done a great job on getting the Mace Crown and Castle symbols on there and they symmetrical and proportional.Then done a great job on the cracked mosaic like detail in the background which is a nice touch like in the Emeblem itself.
The Part I like the most about the moddified Heater shield design that she has done thanks for the pictures for scale by the way.Is the Lonsword tree part of the emblem yes it has the roots equally well done like the other symbols.
But she has Made the Long Sword part into a raised shield Section not only does this pop out and make it look much cooler, shields as you know often had spikes or additional blades or raised protrusions added eg, buckler shield to help in combat. She has Added those in as well on the corner edges of the shield And by adding these in just pays hommage to shield design in general. Handy for bashing and slashing your opponent and the longsword help deflecting central attacks away .
Overall I Really like the Design Customising a heater shield with the Knights emblem she's has done for you and adding those extra touches that i mention that make it JUST a great look shield. I am assuming your Very Happy with it as a gift, and thank you for sharing it with the Community
