Ok, so the game starts, plays seizure warning, plays ubisoft logo and then goes to black screen. Then it kicks me back to the dashboard after a minute. I've tried every single thing I've found online except for completely wiping my console, even went and got a different disk and reinstalled it but nothing. It's a brand new 1tb xbox one s and all other games work fine. Wtf, I'm tired of paying for games that don't work.
I am currently having the exact same problem, reinstalled the game and everything but to no avail
Hey ghosts,
I'm sorry to hear of the situation! I'm going to move this thread over to our tech forum. Have you reached out to our support team so they can walk through troubleshooting with you?
Have you tried to power cycle your Xbox? Press and hold the Xbox button on the console till it completely turns off then maybe wait a good minute before turning it back on.
This is a wide spread issue as I can't seem to find a fix for it I have searched on these forums I have been on twitter Facebook Reddit YouTube gaming fourms google search everything I could being I have the same issue of the game crashing back to the dashboard with out error the full game and the beta both do it at the same spot
I have tried the following
Factory reset 2-3 times
Delete the game reinstall the game
Delete reserved space for the game save
Cleared cache
Removed main profile
Used a temp and old profile
Downloaded the game tried starting offline
Went through all Ubisofts trouble shooting
Went through every step Microsoft had to offer
Nothing seems to work at all
I appreciate you reaching out to our support team, MrNinja, though it's unfortunate the problem is continuing to affect you. I'm going to go ahead and re-notify the team of this particular occurrence.
I'm having the same trouble. Created a support case# 05010527, but was basically told there was nothing else I could do, but just try again later. No one was going to contact me once the problem was resolved. I have to admit, this has not been a great support experience.

Ubisoft support case #: 05010527
Hello, I am experiencing a technical issue with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands on Xbox One. I started having the issue approximately
one week ago. On game startup, right before the game menu appears, the game closes out to the Xbox main menu without any error message. I
called Microsoft support and they walked me through a number of troubleshooting steps:
- Performed a hard power off of my Xbox (disconnected the power brick) and turned it back on with energy saving mode enabled
- Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it
- Checked the disc for scratches or dirt (there were none)
- Tried other games via disc to ensure they worked (they did)
- Ensured Xbox console was oriented horizontal
- Deleted my saved game locally
- Tried using an alternate profile
- Performed a complete reset of my Xbox
None of the above troubleshooting steps solved the issue and I was told that I may have a defective copy of the game. Therefore, I went
out and purchased the digital copy of the game and installed. Unfortunately, the issue remained. However, I noticed that if I disconnect
my console from the internet (via Xbox network settings), the game will startup and play as normal. Please help.

Was told to check the forums for a resolution and that I would not be contacted further.
I've been having the same problem for about 7 months now and its now December and still not working, I've tried everything as well and nothingOriginally Posted by luckyducky1488 Go to original post
I just bought the game yesterday installed it today and i get through the initial image the warning and then the ubisoft thing only to get a black screen then kicked back to my xbox dashboard. I didnt spend this type if money to have this problem even after reinstalling and going through all the troubleshooting on my end also installed it on a different xbox and it worked on that one but not mine
Im having the same problem but instead of waiting for help I would like to request a refund. I don't have the time for waiting on a fix and I would much rather have my money back. I've seen people play the game and it's a great game but it is not working.
