    Mad or Frustrated? Read this.

Let's be honest. For Honor's forums are the epitome of mass unhappiness. For every positive post, their are at least 3 negative ones. After putting in hundreds of hours, I've come to the realization about some things.

    1. Any class is viable in the hands of a player who is skilled in maximizing it. This does not mean the player is skilled or even decent. It may mean you suck at playing your character and simply need to learn to be more effective. I've found crappy players often use such means as spam attacking or abusing some mechanic that isn't working as intended. Complaining about it does nothing; report it and hopefully it gets fixed.

    2. The most toxic community in any game. The 2 main times of players are A. The "Elite" crowd who do not care about the state of the game; they simply care they are able to cheese their ways to victory through whatever means necesssary or B: The Casual crowd who care about the state of the game but love the game so much that they can't leave despite the fact FH makes them rage.

    3. Ubisoft has a history of releasing sub-par games and fixing them over time. The reason it takes forever to get minor things fixed is because they cut the FH team as soon as it released and they now run it with a skeleton crew. If you continue to purchase Ubisoft products, they will continue to not care if they release content that isn't fixed....they know you will purchase it anyway. The best thing to do is wait until the game is released and then read feedback and if the game looks good after a month, purchase it...if not, wait until it improves.

    4. The connectivity issues were known about in Alpha and they are still around...they may get fixed or they may not.

    5. The game is nowhere near balanced. If you expect it to be, you're setting yourself up to disappointment. Ubisoft may fix it in the future but if they do, it will likely take the same amount of time it took them to fix Siege to a reasonable level.

Which comes to my last point. For Honor is a amazing concept. If it wasn't, people would not feel so passionately about it and would certainly not rage about it like they do. For Honor could have been an amazing game but without MASSIVE changes, it will never become such.

Don't expect mature and rational actions in this game. Between the community and the gameplay itself, it's easy to get infuriated with the game. If you find yourself doing that, walk away and take a break. The game is much easier to deal with once you have some time away.

    Best of luck all.

Such a rational and well thought out post from a guy with such a "trolly" name.

    +1 good post though seriously.

I've taken time off from the game but still come on here to see updates and try to help steer the game in a positive direction.

Luckily for me, I did walk away and take a much needed break. I'll be back in season 3.

    .
People are just frustraded because FH could've been a great game that might become a new esport. Instead we got disconnects, errors, no matchmaking and awfully "balanced" heroes. Plus, instead of fixing issues they keep releasing new cosmetic stuff.

First things first, I haven't played for honor in 8 weeks or so, so when I'm talking about the state of the game I'm talking about the state of the game in ~ may. Shugoki was my main (according to some site I was in the top 0.1% of Shug players although I really don't know if that was correct) and by far - at least in my opinion - the worst character. There was literally nothing you could do vs. fast classes. Every half-decent Shinobi/Valk/PK/Orochi/... killed you with light attacks without any problems.

You must be new to onlinegaming if you seriously believe that this is the most toxic community.

Or Ubisoft could just care for their customers and release a game that's actually working as intended.
