Win 10 Pro Farcry4.exe has been blocked from using graphics hardware

I have been getting this error for sometime now.
I have tried doing some stuff I found while searching, but none of it is any help at all. The only thing i can figure is it is Windows Defender stopping the game from accessing my Nvidia geforce gtx 980 hardware.

I don't know why it would as i use no mods and i am playing in offline mode. I have run as admin set as well.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Download DDU app and use it to boot in to safe mode and remove the GPU drivers then download and install the lastest driver from your GPU manufacturer website.

    DDU app: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/...-download.html

    Nvidia drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

    Been there, Done that...

I have already tried that route. It isn't a driver issue. It is windows defender, it is sensing part of the game at times and blocking it from using the graphics hardware. I have even tried adding the ubisoft folder to the exceptions list and it doesn't work.

i may have to look into that. I just rebought far cry 4 on steam, was using that ****ty Ubisoft platform. So far so good made it through the Prologue of the game, hopefully no more issues. i love steam
