Ask yourself this: if they didn't care why would they bring out patches then? To tell nothing is getting fixed is just an idiotic thing to say. If they didn't care this would still have been a beta version of the game. There wouldn't even be a dlc or worst a dlc as a new standalone game with a full retail prices. Do you really think that players would still buy games from company like this? No, if they wouldn't care the company would already be bankrupt or wouldn't even exist/ founded in the first place. To me it just seems that some people just can't or want to understand that coding takes time. Codes need to be tested every time they make/implement a new one and not just the code itself but everything else too and all possible combinations so that the code isn't intervening with others or disabling them or anything that you can imagine.
I don't know really about coding itself but I do know that doing something /working takes time I am just logicically deducting here. Sometimes work/projects just takes longer to do even though you thought it wouldn't take that much time. Think about it, anyone even you "youngsters" who still go to school should have come across this type of situation for homework or class project or working at an intern / holiday jobs, etc... .
I am not talking about the game. I am talking about the GR Network, in which NOTHING has been fixed since the game's release. Not a single thing.Originally Posted by Demrohir Go to original post
But yes, Ubisoft has fixed some things in the game, although some really obvious problems are still being ignored completely.

I'm not putting any words in your mouth. You said that the moderators that started the GR Network thread among other things do care. I'm simply pointing out that these are Ubisoft staff. Ergo Ubisoft cares.Originally Posted by SERPENT 1333 Go to original post
I'm not talking about the state of the Network app, it could definitely improve, I am talking about Ubisofts approach. I am not interpreting the 5 months delay that they care, I am interpreting their request for improvement suggestions and intent to improve it as evidence they care.
I hate this kind of silly semantics argument. It's childish.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
The evidence I have is that they don't give a flying crap about the network, since they haven't fixed anything in nearly 5 months. You can't defend that ridiculous amount of neglect, which is why you resort to an argument about semantics. Just because one moderator might "care" enough to make a sticky thread doesn't mean a damn thing to me, no matter how badly you try to twist my words. So no, we are NOT in agreement just because you say so.
Show me results... show me evidence that they have cared enough to fix the network. Until then, this conversation is over.
Since you ignored my post and you haven't actually provided any proof of this evidence that they don't "give a flying crap" let me counter your arguments.Originally Posted by SERPENT 1333
False - Among minor adjustments there have been network improvements, additional pages, stats, need I go on. Then of course there are the times when the site is down for maintenance which in itself proves that they have done work which is not nothing, ergo, they care.am talking about the GR Network, in which NOTHING has been fixed since the game's release
Also the definition of care in the way that is applicable here is:
verb
verb: care; 3rd person present: cares; past tense: cared; past participle: cared; gerund or present participle: caring
1. feel concern or interest; attach importance to something.
2. look after and provide for the needs of.
That's funny because I specifically remember thinking that if a moderator takes the time to sticky a post (which you have commented in by the way) and then also takes the time to say "Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming" one can assume that they feel concern or interest and attach a certain importance to it. Prove me wrong, maybe the only way you feel they care would be if they put their entire work in progress for all the community to see and speculate on.

It is funny how people think that the excuse is technology. Let me ask you, is the amount flaws in game compared to olden games relevant in terms of the number of flaws or the percentage? I mean games have developed to contain much, much more content. Take the game that is on the most best game ever list. It could never be patched due to its age and console it was on but it has plenty of bugs and flaws as well as several mechanic issues. If this particular game which is considered one of the best games EVER has flaws on its release what hope do current games have in your standards?
Also on the topic of god-vision AI, I would encourage you to find a game that actually doesn't have this type of vision is foliage. Ever tried to map each individual leaf as a solid object that is able to be clipped through? Imagine the processing power required to do that?
If you really want to blame someone, place that blame on the greedy, ignorant share holders that finance these games. They have no idea how this process works. All they care about it hitting the deadline. So they force a game that's not ready for release and do the typical "day one patch" crap.
Rinse and repeat.
I must say I dont play as much as id like but theres just nothing to do. I logged in today to knock out the challenges but realized the rewards are rewards from a package I bought. I wasnt even refunded the currency when I unlocked them through the challenges. There are a million and one things you can add to the game especially when it comes to cosmetics, and Im not only see repeat items for 2 weeks in a row, but items I purchased with money. I agree with OP 100%. This is laziness of the developers, took the money and ran from this title.
The only real problems that I have is how they completely ignored the helicopter (They said that people during the technical test told them that "This aint gone fly.") If the Heli's flew then they way the fly now this game would have been more engaging.
The second thing was PvP I think we all know that this should have been a bullet point from jump. I just hope that Ghost War compliments RB6. But in Ubi's defense they have a whole lot going on right now.
Another thing like the above message says is little things that could be fixed with a couple of keystrokes. NVG'S something that could have been there from jump. It should not take 4 months for some of these things.
