Only problem is Ghost Recon is the biggest selling game of the year so i do believe we have lost the franchise now to the casual market and no matter how much of bumping gums from us older fans will ever make a difference again.
I assume you're including me in that, so I'll address it.

You don't know the half of it, and what you do know is distorted by your own negative perceptions. Not only have you been missing out on the best PvP shooter (R6 Siege) that has come out for years, you have a huge downer on what is a proper Ghost Recon game and are just making sweeping generalisations and assumptions based on that opinion with no substance to back them up. I'm on record here for those improvements I'd like to see so perhaps you can drop the snide commentary about "yes men"? You're entitled to your view of the game, but not to your other derogatory views.

You don't own the exclusive right to deem what is and isn't Ghost Recon. Unless you're trying to tell me the campaign in the game you have in your avatar pic had a better campaign than Wildlands, (it didn't) that you had more control over your AI team, (you didn't) or that the AI in GR2 were better than the AI in Wildlands (they weren't) then I can't really take you seriously. If you do think GR2 was better on those aspects or any other (PvP aside which was the saving grace of GR2) then why not articulate that argument. Explain why GR2 was a proper Ghost Recon and Wildlands isn't. You might want to pop it back in your console and play it first though.

Blah Blah Blah Wildlands is amazing older Ghost Recon games are ****. Im not here to arguewith you just giving my view. This is the 2nd game now aimed at the casual market (Future Soldier the first but failed miserably) The game is a huge seller the casual's have now lapped this up due to it being open world and it plays all out action in their games. The series is lost the yes men feedback awful views and the dev team have awful views of where the series is heading. I dread to think where the next game is headed no doubt lots more Narco Road incorporatedinto it.

Not a single person i grew up with/friends/clan which were huge fans of Ghosts or Rainbow are playing this game NOT A SINGLE ONE that itself tells us exactly how this game ended up.

Oh and i didnt miss out on Rainbow 6 Seige i played it for a few months, Horrible experience Ubi netcode is the worst i mean how long did it take to get into games??? Didnt they abandon the DLC to try and sort out the mess? Then it was gadget central and wall hack central another Ubi game that lit up like a Christmas tree. Starting to notice a trend here you love the new Ubi games that make the game much easier to play. Hope you enjoy your Christmas Tree PvP that's on it's way, Im sure you'l love it and claim it's more Ghost Recon PvP than any other of those **** older Ghost Recon games.

How amazing is it we can see enemies and teammates without ever needing to actually see them! So much fun not actually having to figure out where others are! This is defo more Ghost Recon than Ghost Recon!

ps: Your really gonnae love the Eagle in the new AC game!

It is clear that UBI listens and cares. I mean. don't look at the things they botched within the game, glitches or bugs that have not been fixed yet nor ever will but look at ALL the things they did fix with their patches and you will realize that listening to feedback is what they do best.

I feel they did a great job in spite of some hard glitchs. The cost vs entertainment for a video game is almost unmatched. Roughly $45-$75 for hundreds of hours of game play is awesome. Complaining about that is just sad. That's like getting mad because your $8 cheeseburger didn't keep you feeling full for 3 days. I get it that some fans take it personally or that the Ubisoft owes them something. That is what the updates and patches are for. They have to get the game out to market eventually. If it was what everyone wanted it would never be finished or cost hundreds to the customers.

Keep in mind, Ubisoft is filled with real people doing the best with what they have. Not everyone at the company agrees the serious staff and the project might get certain cuts. They provide the form for free and hold numerous meetings about it. I'm not trying to defend just Ubisoft but many companies in different field do this.

Your (our) voice does matter. The best to way in a free market is to "Vote" with your money. If you don't like it, speak up and don't buy their products.

As for me, I dig it and thing it fun game. Thanks for hearing me out.

I found the video of 107 facts about the game to help illustrate what goes into this stuff. Some of you already know about this but I thought it was still pretty cool.

Having played most of the R6 titles (starting on PC) since the original release in the late 90's, I guess you can call me a fan. In fact, all of the folks i play GRW with (around the same age....40s-50s) all share similar experiences and interests in certain aspects of games. .....we also still play GRW together (on extreme difficulty, no markers, limited HUD, etc.). We all feel it provides an immersive, tactical and more believable experience than most games currently available for console.

Having said that, that's not to say it doesn't have it's flaws and I have been quite vocal about that. .....including my displeasure in the direction I believe Ubi may be taking the future of this title. However, my experience (and those of my friends) with the core game has been very enjoyable. Perhaps it would have been better if Ubi released Wildlands as it's own title under the Tom Clancy franchise.

Oh without a doubt, It really should of been a military Far Cry as it's so close already to Far Cry gameplay mechanis rather than Ghost Recon

As said, giving your view on the game isn't an issue, you're entitled to it. Giving your view on me does mean you're here to argue with me, and there is no need for it. You're suggesting I am not genuine in my view and even if I was then my view is rubbish.

All relative and does not tell how the game is in a wider context just how it is in your social circle. In mine, of the 72 friends on my FL 11 have put in more than the 7 days solid that I have put in. My old clan buddies who have been playing GR with me since I met them 12 years ago love it. Nobody I grew up with plays video games, LoL, but this game has ended up reviving the franchise. Too bad it's not for you, maybe next time.

Where have I said the older games were anything other than great? And there you go making it about me again.

We'll have to wait and see on HUD options in PvP. The haters were claiming exactly the same about the markers in the main campaign. Right up until the Devs shut them up with the options for the HUD and then again with the improved options for the HUD. Funny, I'm sure I just said, Yes, Yes, Yes, love those bright red markers and anything is great just do it.

No I'm not, as I don't really like AC, its not my style of game. That doesn't upset me, though, and I don't feel the need to rant on about it and hurl abuse at the Dev team's choices. They think differently about what they want for the game, but so what? Having a different view doesn't make it an inferior view. Just a little life tip there for you.

Having also played the Far Cry franchise, I don't agree but I don't think that's a surprise to either of us.
