I agree. Ubisoft makes such great concepts and great games, but then they find ways to stifle and frustrate players and mess up the great game. For example, I notice that so many Ubisoft games have frustrating missions with countdown timers. I really hate being on timed missions because you end up running into some object in the environment and even one slip up results in failure. Every Ubisoft game also tells you that "You Failed" or "Mission Failed" because they set up some frustrating set of rules to complete the mission.

Aside from those minor things, with Ghost Recon Wildlands, I simply wanted to start a fresh game with all the skills and weapons I've already unlocked. This would be easy to implement, so why won't Ubisoft do it? Or some challenge maps for co-op players with customizable settings? (And I know everyone is waiting for PvP). I tried my best to like Narco Road, but I just couldn't. I loved Fallen Ghosts and wondered why the entire campaign wasn't more like that. I loved the slower-paced game play and the story made better sense with better cut scenes and memorable villains.

    Oh well.

Oh, not to mention the other sub-standard aspects of the game. Sure people like the game, but a lot of people jumped ship when they realised the true potential of this game would never be reached.
But hey, people continue to buy Ubisoft games and defend their games for some reason, so why should they really care to begin with when the consumers are so stupid.
That happens when ignorants play a Ghost Recon game without playing the older titles and expect a super Arma+Socom reloaded game, again Ghost Recon never was a "realistic simulator" the reloads aren't important.

Who are you to say the consumers are stupid? You must be the stupid one. "Ey they enjoy the game, but i don't so they are stupid"
Nobody is defending anything, people are giving valid points, you on the other hand just complain and cry without adding something of value. You can dislike the game but you can't judge people who do like it or buy Ubisoft games, is their money and is their taste. You are not smart just because you didn't like a game lol.

lets be honest hear its not that the devs dont care, its just that ubi have had a few flops lately ie for honour, watchdogs 2 far cry primal and a few other small titles from ubi and lets face it the people who own ubi arnt happy about the lack of money the games have made because we as ubi gamers are nothing but ungrateful wasters who probably dont work or wash as we spend all our time complaining about games that are buggy and flawed for utterly no reason,i mean who do we people think we are wanting a good game with few bugs and problems and were not buying the micotransactions of blaintently ripped out content ie coloured gun camos lol yes we all noticed ubi,

lol no with all seriousness im pretty pissed with ubi atm,ive been playing ghost recon rainbow six and assassins cread for quite some time now infact i would say i play mostly ubisoft games tbh but lately im just not impressed,to much time spent on graphics and not enough time spent on mechanics and ai.i can live with some dodgy textures but it pisses me off when its the ai that is constantly crappy as with all ubi games atm.

please excuse my spelling its atrocious atm lol,and also dont take this the wrong way but as a player of this game i just want the game to work right and be FUN which seems like these days the FUN has been removed from games and frustration inserted which is most defiantly not fun

    I can't even play

I can't even play it, just bought it on xbox one s, installed it, after the ubisoft logo, I get a black screen and then kicked back to the dashboard, I've tried everything from a different disc to reinstalling it. Can't find anything about this problem from ubisoft themselves even though it appears to be pretty common.

I actually do believe that the mods here on the forum and the devs do care, the ones doing the code and the game art. But the decisions makers, whoever they may be at whatever level they are seated in the UBI hierarchy, being CEOs or Art Leads, are the ones messing up and being more concerned how to exploit the game to make more money contra fixing the game and being focused on how to make a really good, stable game. Seeing two DLCs before the core of the game has being addressed, is just such a terrible state of mind to be in for a decision maker. Especially seeing Narco Roads as DLC when vehicles has been hated by players since Beta. That\s just a filthy mindset to be in. But I am pretty sure it\s not the devs making that choice.

I have consistently not bought DLCs for games the past +year. I wish everyone else did as well to get devs back doing what they love to do. Creating code and game art, and not money. Money will come if their focus get straightened out. DLCs do have a place, but not in they way they are currently deployed.

You guys are right that the mods and the Devs do care; actually they care a lot more than you might think. What isn't so apparent is that the whole team from top to bottom also care as much and that the entire studio is a close knit group of professionals who have an emotional and passionate connection with their games. From the CEO, to the studio head, to the producer to the lead developer and then to leaf and rock guys and the whole support team, you will find nothing but a love of gaming and a labour of love for the games they make and are so proud of. Yes, they have to make money too, but if you want to make an issue of that then don't give them any; just don't feel the need to stamp your foot and tell everyone about it.

You can disagree with some of their choices, I do, but you can not accuse them of making those choices without thinking of all gamers and their whole audience and you can not accuse them of making those decisions lightly without due consideration for all the options. I've spoken face to face with these guys on the choices I disagree with and I understand their rationale and respect their arguments, even whilst disagreeing with them. They don't even agree with each other on everything, but they thrash it through they debate and then they decide. After that, like any good team, they all get behind the decision as that it is the only way to proceed, and it doesn't mean they had no regard for the other options.

Our input here is important - it influences their thinking, it factors into those close decisions and it forms a means by which our views are heard and those other options stay alive. We can use our voices to constructively articulate what the GR community wants or we can indulge in pointless Dev team and Ubisoft bashing. Your choice.

Five large title updates and two major DLCs in four months not good enough for you?

No, not when there are major problems that after 4 months are still being completely ignored. I agree with KurtRoman's comments above; Ubi needs to focus more on getting the problems fixed than selling new content. And even the latest patch didn't improve anything in my game at all; it actually just made things noticeably worse, since now we have these ridiculous spawn waves that are a lot more annoying than they were before.
