First Experience with Desert Tech HTI Sniper Rifle | Forums

Ok, so I just reached Tier 1 level 40 and got my hands on the Desert Tech HTI sniper rifle. I had heard it was pretty good, but OMG!!!!!!! I quickly went from Unidad threat level 1 to 4, shot down 6 choppers, WITH 1 SHOT EACH!!!! Blowing up vehicles is a 1 shot deal!! I'm having more fun now than I did with my initial playthrough. If there was ever an incentive to play Tier 1, do it for the Desert Tech. Its a certified beast of a sniper rifle!!!

It is.

The regular HTI can also one-shot, but not with a supressor. The Desert Tech can. Also not sure if the regular HTI is able to one-shot the armored vehicles. The Desert Tech HTI certainly can.

It's a pretty powerful gun. I have mine upgraded to level 12 (It looks like it will go to level 14 / 15) and it is definately required as you tier up.

I cant prove it but I feel the BDC has an improved Bullet Drop.

From what tier? I'm at 26 and still one-shotting everything without a single upgrade (no suppressor).

Any tier to upgrade it (I'm tier 34). You just require resourses to rank it up. You do it in loadout.

Ah, I thought you meant it was required to upgrade it (as in not powerful enough) at later tiers.

Just a few nights playing online helping people with missions (i've completed everything) and last night doing convoys solo. So probably around 6 - 7 hours game time.
