    Two weapons that need changed before PTS is over

    Two guns in particular are still outliers after the SVD nerf. These two guns need to be brought down so other guns will see action.


    Lightweight M4/LVOA archetype- This gun has a very high RPM with damage that rivals the similar in class ACR. The damage could very easily see a 10-15% damage nerf which would allow the ACR to see some daylight. Making this change would make all AR's competitive in nature from the Ak-to the Bullfrog.

    I stole this from a previous post from Ruar35 which supports my claim asking for a 10-15% damage nerf.

    Examples
    AK-47 22.2k x 30= 666k at 600 RoF (10 rounds per second *RPS*) = 666k in 3 seconds or 222k per second 18%
    Lightweight M4 17.8k x 30 = 534k at 850 RoF 914.1 RPS) = 534k in 2.1 seconds or 254k per second
    Enhanced ACR-E 17.3k x 30 = 529k at 760 RoF = (12.6 RPS) = 529k in 2.3 seconds or 230k per second 10%

    Which means the Lightweight M4 puts out 18% more damage per second than the AK-47, 10% more than the Enhanced ACR-E assuming all rounds hit and I did the math correct.


    SASG shotgun- This gun is just silly, the RPM's the gun is able to achieve should not be possible on a shotgun. The M870 was long the king of the shotguns for it's ability to 1-2 shot people. The SASG has replaced it and it's almost exactly where the M870 was, in fact some can argue it's even more silly than the M870 days. Please lower the damage by 15-20% to encourage it's more spray and play style versus the more tactical approach the M870 and Super 90 offer. Double Barrel shotguns should also see a damage buff of roughly 8-12% to encourage more in your face/finish your opponent off gameplay.


    Now that Division seems to becoming a gun game again, we must find ways to actively find place of all it's unique guns in the "meta"(I hate this word) and changing these two guns in particular is a great first step in that.

    Do you guys ever stop b*tching and moaning? It gets old after so long. I mean some stuff does need adjustments, that are game breaking. But asking for this is just ******ed. Nothing needs to be done to the weapons.

    SASG12 ain't broken it you don't use it with striker set. It's the same as SVD that wasn't broken if you didn't use DeadEye.
    The issue is not the weapons, but the gearsets.

    You know that, I know that and a lot of other players know that (bar the ones who want a non existent TTK and a CoD style shooter) and the DEVS.

    Nerfs are not going to stop this game should be renamed The Nerfvision it's a very apt upto date name for this game.

    I agree.

    But the buffs do need to happen. Instead of nerfing, they should try to match every gun its DPS to the "top dog" category in their respective class.

    How about buffing other weapons to bring them more in aligned in with the m4?
    The aim assist for sasg can be tweaked to prevent quicking scoping.
    ACR , G36C, AK, ScarL. should have their reticle bloom adjusted and higher base damage. Their recoil is too much for how low their fire rate is.
    M4 variants should have more reticle bloom when firing in full auto.

    LMGS need buff. More damage to targets out of cover or replace it with a critical damage bonus 40%

    SCAR especially needs a reticle bloom reduction. ACR has a horrible first shot recoil multiplier making it a garbage burst ranged AR, whereas the G36 is exactly the opposite: more bloom but extremely good at repetitive bursting at range. The P416 feels like a nice balance between the both.
