Isn't that the whole point of learning how to fight?

If you just assume the shug blocks and parries everything so you have no way of shaving off that UI, then why don't you simply use that same logic in reverse and assume you'll be able to block/parry everything the shug throws at you and then hit him or GB him to shave off the UI? Is there some set rule that the shug you're fighting has always infallible defenses so you can't do anything?

How can you justify suppressing a class effect even when you didn't succeed in anything?

Sometimes its frickin' difficult to even land anything against a seasoned conqueror, so does that mean he should get his superior block removed the moment somebody just presses a GB button regardless of it connects or CGBs?

I don't mind losing UI on guardbreaks. After you light-headbutt folks a couple of times, they will stop trying to guardbreaks you. But yea centurion is a pain. He breaks all the rules. All the OG characters have unblockable/uninterruptible attacks that won't affect Shugoki in hyper armor. Centurion pins Shugoki and continues on with his combo.

I agree with you and I'm not justifying to cancel his ability like that, I agree it could be changed but in a different way than what you suggest because yeah, it's not like he is going to parry everything I throw or I'll do the same but if parry doesn't get you a gb and the parry itself doesn't take away the UI stance it could be easy for characters like Pk to make damage because of how fast her attacks are and they are not that easy to react to but if you are playing a character with slower attacks which can't be used to take away the stance and hit afterwards to stop the Shugo from gb'ing you, you can't gb to take away the stance and parry doesn't take away the stance and doesn't give you the gb either then you would have to turtle because he could trade everytime with you and of you are playing an slower character even turtling wouldn't work. Poor Shugo needs help and I think the UI stance need a change but I think it should be different.

Yeah, that's unfair. When I played Kensei I got pinned several times from my untinterruptable heavies.
