How About a Lobby Chat While we Wait?

I was surprised there was no chat in the lobby screen during the tournament, especially considering we have to wait for other players to finish their games before we can move on. And especially especially considering the chat from previous games carries over vs different opponents. Could this be implemented at all? It'd be nice to have something to do while we wait besides alt+tab. Imagine what console players who can't alt tab would have to deal with.

    Big drawback

A big feature of Duels is that your opponent doesn't know who you are going to pick. With a chat lobby it's easy that after you have finished a match your opponent could reveal who you picked against him. Yes, you could still choose to pick another hero, but your next opponent for sure will be influenced by this and he will probably try to counter pick your favourite hero preventing you to select him.
That would be so much annoying imo

We'll take your suggestion into consideration and we'll be sure to weigh the potential benefits/drawbacks as well - thanks!

    Big drawback

well, that's right, but we could talk as our team names what we got at the beginning. So no one will know who we are. Because they have a long name there could be just the first part of the name. For example: Blazeshire grunts - Blazshire , Tryrant Scourge - Tyrant and so far.

But there is also a very big drawback on this. And that's the salt what you can give or get after a game. So it might be a good idea just to chat with someone, but might be a very bad idea as well. Obviously, it depends on the players, but my experience is, even if ure nice with someone u can get salt back.

Im more into a spectator mode rather than a chat. It could be a option (the more apps the game has the better) also a map vote between the players that are going to fight (example: they can pick a map and after a random chance one of them is picked in the next fight)
