Tier 1 . What is the point of fast travelling to a mission , say a Medic truck and when you get there its tuned into a Gas truck ... I`m using fast travel to get to a mission that's constantly changing ???? But I do like the Tier 1 add on , like with The Division it will only get better ... Thanks ...
This has always been the case, at least in my experience, it's not new to tier 1 mode. Also, it only happens in solo, not in co-op (unless everyone fast travels at the exact same time).Originally Posted by L4NTUS Go to original post
In some ways, I get what T1 mode is going for. It's the reality of being a problem in a foreign country, where everybody knows your name. - You think, you're just an armed tourist; fact, is everyone is watching your every move.
Yeah, in gaming terms it's a bit over-the-top. Bullet soaks that never miss a shot, and every shots a stun-hit to the head, from full mags, with Uzi's.
You don't feel like you're fighting people, or even exceptionally brutal killers. You feel like you're fighting a computer program that ignores all the rules. It's like gambling at a casino where every deck is stacked in favour of the house.
However, in amongst the chaos, there is a point where it gets real. If you survive the initial 'burst assault' (which is a huge glitchfest) then it gets properly visceral. Believe me, you're not going to walk away from some sicko that opens up at you with an Uzi, from within 30'. However, you'd have to be pretty off-wirld to get caught with your pants down like that.
It'd be better if Ubisoft, took the approach that battles 'intensify' rather than capitalise on 'surprise' elements. There's nothing simulated/tactical about having the whole country open-up on you in an instant!
FC2 initially had the same problem. That's how they fixed it.
