If your opponent leaves a ranked duel match before it is 100% completed you don't gain any ranking and i'm going to presume that the leaver doesn't lose any rating.
What gives? I was already annoyed with the fact that leaving doesn't count as a loss in the live game right now and i was sure that the devs would have fixed it with ranked. It's actually mind blowing that this is still an issue in the RANKED mode.
This needs to be fixed asap. The correct percent of points should be gained for winning even if the opponent leaves before the match is completed, in that case the opponent has forfeited the round and takes a loss, the percent points are correctly added to the winner and the leaver loses the correct percent of points as if he had lost.
The leaving penalty of waiting until you can play again is not going to deter people from leaving if it means they get to save themselves from a potential loss.
I'm uploading an example of a match where this happened, might takes some time until it's up.

I just tested it vs someone that was only fighting near ledges, i alt+f4 the match and lost 10% which is nothing considering a normal loss drains 50% or more. Where is the penalty that's stated in the FAQ? I honestly don't bother testing if it is in a state like this. Constant auto forfeits because you can't connect to a match and honestly the duel tournaments just last too long and the waiting times are boring. Just add an ELO system to the existing duel mode, you queue, you get matched, you play and get points based on your performance, your rank and your opponents rank, after that you can queue again.
