Hello forums of For Honor!

So I was excited to hear we'd finally get a competitive mode in For Honor and that I was "invited" to test it! So far I have to say I haven't had any issues like described in this forum yet. The game has frozen, lagged, crashed, show a black screen, etc. I went through a complete Duel Tournament to the Playoffs without a hitch, however there's nothing special to the system, it's just like any other bracket based tournament. As mentioned in countless threads there's no spectate mode if you're in the tournament or if you just want to watch others - so how do you plan on handling this when eSports organizations or companies want to use this system or similar for their tournaments going forward? Will we have patches that add this in later? Are we just testing a small portion of the system? Also, there needs to be major reworks to each hero/class so they're all viable versus another player. I know player skill is also a factor and I'm not boasting about being a good player in the least but it seems one sided with a lot of characters such as Nobushi, she's squishy, predictable, and slow to guard switch and her hidden stance is difficult to use while using a controller (for me at least), her heavy is also incredibly slow and is only useful if the enemy is low on stam, after a guard, or as a side dodge attack. Her whole kit is to bleed/poison enemies and against decent players or any character that can block indefinitely she's rather useless.

TL;DR

PROS

• Typical bracket style tournament
• No connection issues so far, but, dedicated servers would be optimal
• Praise/Criticize voice over is cute but there should be an option to turn off the remarks
• Teams look good, but, there should be a choice to create your own even if for 1v1

CONS

• Class imbalance; some classes need to be reworked
• Include spectate mode in-between rounds, or as an option instead of joining the Tournament
• Include other Tournament styles, there should be one for all game modes
• Clarify the badges and their purpose, where to view all earned badges, list of possible rewards for winning

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions! Currently tournament is only for duel, but it may be expanded in the future. As for badge purpose, muting the announcer and spectator modes - those are all suggestions we can use to improve on the final release!
