Right from the get-go, we're using old saved data, my hero selection is limited strictly to the faction I'm in, "How To Play" doesn't even work (but custom matches do, for some reason) and every Tournament match I'm in fails to connect; I went all the way to the quarter finals without playing a single game

And everybody can probably agree that the worst thing of all is the non-discreet, "Public Test 1" text everywhere on the screen; it looks like it came straight from a horror movie.

Do I even get to actually play?

I was eliminated after three games where all I did was stare at a screen saying "game found, connecting". After a couple minutes I would be declared a winner or loser and get back to the main screen.

Maybe it's some kind of a manager mode where I don't have to fight against other players myself?

You actually get declared a winner or loser? For me, it attempts to join game, but always ends in a tie.

Yeah I got a victory in my first game after my opponent failed to connect, then a tie and a defeat. All that without entering the battlefield.

The sad truth here is we are all losers anyway.

I'm sure the devs will figure this out, hate to see this fantastic game plagued by technical issues.

What the heck is going on? Games are auto resolved and I haven't even played a single game so far...

yup, same problem here. and when i can launch a actual game, it crash mid game.

Finally, after 6 hours and un/reinstalling several times over, I'm able to get some matches going.

It's not your most recently save data so if you recently unlocked heroes in the last 2 weeks it probably won't show. And since it's a test, we've limited a number of functions to cut down on the size of the client - so things like "How to Play" won't be functional, same with dominion, etc.

And sorry about the "Public Test" it's annoying but also necessary.

There's also a known issues thread here so if you run into any of those we're already aware that those are happening.
