I lost two games today from being kicked from the game, when I was winning hard. The players played out some cards, then I owned them, and then when I was dominating the field, I get kicked form the game, and loose. It was really frustrating, and I am glad you folks are aware of the issue are are committed to punishing offenders, and fixing the exploit. Thank you!

This is the player that has been cheating. During the first few seconds in battle he already deployed more than 3 enemies. I was defending my tower, but I had zero energy. I lost one bar in no time. I got a bar out of him. But before I got the bar down it seemed like my characters were being controlled. My connection was great. So, I figured he was cheating. Then when we had sudden death, the battlefield was exploding with this players cards. He sent out Prophet Dougie, and a few other cards, like big gay al, Ice sniper Wendy, And Gunslinger Kyle. And more before that. Can you guys please take care of this player, because it seems like you guys don’t take care of these cheaters. Do your damn job. Please add a report button in pvp for this next update.

It's been over half a year the first thing that pops up on Google searching this game is how to cheat. Why isn't it fixed? I'm owed hundreds of wins. It's b.s. losing 9 out of 10 times to energy hacks. These people are rewarded non stop with events and top PvP fix it.

This player spawned awesomo. Then 2 seconds later he spawned ice sniper Wendy HH Clyde Butters and Heidi. I wish I knew how to send screenshots.

Hey, everyone! Steve from RedLynx here. I’ve seen a few posts about players cheating recently, and I wanted to address this really quick. The TL;DR is: We’re aware of these issues, and we’re working on a hotfix that should help.

I don’t have an exact date for the hotfix, but it’ll be quite soon. We’re also working to identify any players that are using cheats (PLEASE don’t call them out here! For that, send me a direct message, or put in a formal ticket using the in-game feature). We have absolutely no tolerance for players that we confirm are cheating. Players that are found to be cheating will be issued permanent bans on the first offense – no exceptions.

We take this issue super cereal, because we’ve put a lot of hard work into the game, and we want people to enjoy it. Cheating steals that enjoyment from others, and it’s not cool. We want to ensure an awesome experience for all of you, and we appreciate the patience and the love you show us!

There is also an event which has been happening that looks a bit like a player is cheating, but is actually caused by a bug. When there are connection issues, sometimes your units might not be able to move or attack while you are able to be attacked. This is a frustrating bug, but doesn’t seem to be caused by players cheating, rather it is an issue with the connection between two players. It’s also something that we’re working on, so we appreciate your patience in that regard.

At the moment, we are also working to improve other things - this is for sure not the only fix coming. We'll be releasing patches and fixes periodically in order to make the game as great as we can. The first of these is an upcoming balance update that should resolve a lot of concerns in that area. I can't say much on this issue yet, but I'll keep you updated with information when I can.

I hope everyone is having fun playing Phone Destroyer! I’ve seen a few of you out there in PvP (and yes, you normally beat me…) and I look forward to losing to you again soon.

8 months later, no fix in sight. I just watched a player cast 3 ikes. And not after the first one died. It was 3 ikes on the board at the same time.

I'm close to Legendary, but the closer I get the more cheating I see. Not worth my time and frustration tbh. Uninstalling. There's other games out there that have protections in place for this kind of thing. Like reporting. And audits. And algorithms. Because that's what you do when you truly take cheating "super cereal". Instead, from our perspective, it appears that you have rolled over and handed the game to the hackers. Good luck with that.

If you guys read the devs updates posts you'll see they are currently working on switching PvP features to a dedicated server (anot not peer2peer anymore), which will greatly limit cheating possibilities, especially energy manipulation.
Making this kind of changes takes time, but of course it's always is too slow from a customer point of view.
