It's too loud and annoying. some guy shouting commands to other players like he's king shyt. then you have the ones that use the headphones, but you hear them eating, breathing, and grunting after every death.

I almost always have my mic on, but muted so my back round noise doesn't annoy anyone.
I just have it on in case anyone wants to communicate, which I find rarely.

Also, when I run into someone with annoying back round, breathing, music exc...
How do I mute them on PS4?

    Thanks.

Unlike other multiplayer games, there's just no reason to talk to people. Nothing productive will come out of them just complaining that they died by X or just blasting music/ having a **** mic. And from playing this game since release i noticed that talking to people **** up my playing. It's harder to concentrate and my reaction time is slower when someones just yapping in your ear and you have to listen. Even when i get into a squad of people I tell them I'm going to lower the chat volume and not speak as much because its really distracting.

When everyone doesn't say a peep, usually nobody is willing to break the silence (also I'm sure many of us have had some bad VC experiences that keep us from initiating conversation).

From my experience, I'll usually stay silent unless I see someone else trying to communicate. If someone is cursing like a sailor I'll mute them, but if I see someone being friendly and chatty I'm always more than willing to respond and reciprocate in kind.

So if you want to see some more voice chat comms - be the first to speak up! Start off with a friendly "Hello" or "We got this team" and I'm sure you'll be able to get others to participate.
Just remember to be polite, be respectful - and if other people start flaming/being toxic just mute them and shake it off, don't let the toxicity get to you. And then report the flamers let us deal with their toxic mess.

I talk A LOT while playing.(Xbone Australia) Don't ramble on. Just keep it simple. Like"there's 3 in the centre" "No one's at A" or"Watch out shugs, gank squad coming". For 2 months I never heard a peep, but I could tell people could hear by the way they reacted. Then people slowly started talking to me,and am gathering a decent crew together now. I would find it odd if the american region has that problem though. Can't stop those fellows from talking .

There is one more possible explanation. For EU at lest - language differences. Because there is not enough players we ending up in teams from different countries and it's harder to communicate in this situation. It's really visible when I play with Russians that start to type in Cyrillic. :P
