Hi, Why does nobody use Voice chat :(

Hello, Why does nobody use voice chat? is it because they don't know there is voice chat? I would love to see people use voice chat in Dominion/Deathmatch etc also known as "Communication" that everyone seems to ignore... Thats all :P I just want to know

Because there's usually just a lot of heavy breathing, screeching and garbage i don't need to hear. I've never left a player unmuted and been grateful for my decision. Now i just keep voice chat turned off completely. My FH experience is infinitely better since i discovered that option.

Because anyone that wants to communicate is on Discord.

I don't like people talking in my ear when I'm trying to concentrate on my enimies. It's splits my focus when I'm playing, makes me play even worse. Trying to follow what they are yelling about and focus isn't easy for me. Secondly, I REALLY don't want to hear some dudes Rap Music his blasting, baby screeching he's totally ignoring, baby momma screaming at him, 11 year old screaming hacker when he looses, then how he ****ed that plays mom and he's so great when he wins, the list goes on. Voice chat in this game is just as much cancer as most of the community.

There is enough comms in the quick chat - dont need to hear swearing and abuse doesnt help the game

I only heard other people talking in the early days, on about 3 or 4 occasions and haven't heard a peep in the last couple of months. I don't know if something changed, or if I accidentally changed my settings, but even when people appear to be speaking because their mic symbol is moving, I can't hear them. Having said that, the 3 or 4 times I mentioned before were

    1. A guy swearing at everyone on our team throughout the entire match
    2. Someones game sounds played back to the rest of us
    3. Someones television
    4. A guy who occasionally coughed and did heavy breathing througout the entire match

    Because I played the division.

Voice chat was cool in wow bc and is still in wows. But that's TeamSpeak. In Europe, you get mixed up with people from all over Europe. The eu alone has 24 official languages. Voice chat in Europe is a bad idea, because even if people speak English, it can barely be recognized.

Ran into a game during the first few days of release. It had two guys talking about their sex lives. They were gay. I never returned to voice chat. I'm here to game. Not to listen to sex stories or how good the weapons would feel being put where the sun dont shine.

The feedback and little kids are annoying. but the gay sex stories was enough for me. It was hilarious tho. Would never thought I'd experience that while gaming. Only in For Honor I guess.

Yup these responses nailed it... its either ppl you can't understand, or something annoying on the mic... it's the same with every game i've played in the past i dunno 15 years with voice chat...Granted I'm a guy who thinks YOU are a complete moron until you prove otherwise...and maybe about 2 guys have ever done that as a "random" on voice chat... EVER....so yeah.

Plus i'm usually in a ps4 party chat with friends, lol.
