CTD related to Level of Detail setting

I've been playing this game since it came out and in the past month I've noticed it has progressively become more unstable, culminating this week in an instant CTD upon loading the game world. I verified the game files, uninstalled and then reinstalled the game, uninstalled and did a clean reinstall of the latest version of my graphics card drivers (RX 480 17.6.2). Then I turned the graphics down to 1080p with the low preset and found I could run the game. At that point, I progressively set my graphics settings to what they were before one by one to see if I could trace the issue. Eventually, I found that the "Level of Detail" setting causes the issue if it is set to "Ultra". While I have found a way to play the game with it set to "Very High", I've noticed props like barrels don't render beyond 150m, but are still treated as existing by the game and block bullets, which being a sniper in the game makes it unsettling if that can't see that my shot is going to be blocked. I hope that you'll have the time and resources to fix this issue in one of the upcoming patches, as I would very much like to set it back to "Ultra", for the aforementioned reasons as well as to see the game in as much detail as possible. I haven't made any changes to my computer to the last month so I don't think it's anything on my end that's causing these crashes suddenly, and I've tried disabling unnecessary background tasks, but to no avail. I've also probably submitted about a dozen crash reports through Uplay's crash report system. My computer specs are listed below. Please let me know if I could provide any further information that would help in solving this issue.

    CPU: Intel Core i7-3770
    RAM: 16GB DDR3
OS: Windows 7 64bit professional w/ all the latest service packs and updates as of 6/27
    DX: DX11
GPU: Radeon RX 480 8GB, with latest drivers as of 6/27

I forgot to add that currently I am running the game at max/ultra settings except for antialiasing (SMAA only), motion blur (off), Level of Detail (very high due to aforementioned bug, was set to Ultra in months prior), 1800p resolution with 110% resolution scale.
