    Honestly... This is a brilliant idea. It would be a significant change to the meta, but I think that the overwhelming majority of the community would be ecstatic to see something based on your idea implemented, even if not to the full extent that you mentioned. I hope the dev team takes it seriously, this is a really fantastic concept.

    I WOULD LOOOOOVE THIS IDEA!!!!! What about this though????? you have to repeatedly press the HANG ONTO LEDGE button (guardbreak button?). That would even it out and add LOTS of more suspense! Also if there is no one around besides enemy maybe a falling execution? like "long. live. the king!" (the lion king).

    I like that idea!
    It'd be kind of like the Mass Effect multiplayer revive system where if you don't mash the button your revive timer drains rapidly, but you can hold it off by mashing the button. And yes, I think a ledge execution would have to be necessary, otherwise you'd have to guard the ledge until the timer ran out like you have do with normal non-executed deaths. I'm mostly thinking for elimination where a revive can be a game changer.

    I don't like the idea. Lets not turn this game into Uncharted please. If less ledge kills is a goal for the devs, just change the maps to have less ledges.

    I really like this idea. Additionally the shinobi could counter the ledge throw with a ranged GB animation to "transfer" momentum to the throwing player, pulling them and the shinobi able to (if stamina is available) GB or heavy (same opening/timing as normal GB).
