    Valley of The Yetis Crashing during co-op play (only for the joining player)

    My husband and I played many hours of Farcry 4 together with no issues at all. So we think there is nothing wrong with our network setup. While playing Valley of the Yetis however, the person joining the co-op game always crashes after 2-10 mins of gameplay. There is no pattern as to what causes the crash, we were doing different things every single time, but it is always the joining player that crashes (the host player's game continues to run). We have swapped who hosts the game and who joins and it doesn't seem to matter who is what or which PC they are playing on, if you are the "joiner" your game will be crashing in about 10 minutes time (often much sooner).

    Given how long the loading times are, and that if the crash happens during a mission everything is lost, it kind of makes the DLC unplayable for us.

    Any suggestions?

    We both have GTX 1080
    min 16Gb Ram

    We both made sure our copy of the game came up as "installed" under Uplay. We each have our own Uplay login.

    As I said before, the main FarCry 4 game co-op worked with no problems

    verify your game files on both clients .. make sure no one has any mods installed that you do not have.... or they do not have installed

    \ ie you have to have the same files installed for co op to work properly if either of you modded your game

    as well as both players must complete ACT 1 of the SP far cry 4 game (until then co op remains locked )

    also if you both have windows 10 shut off tablet input services .. that may be kicking in and causing the game to lock or crash .. dunno if it affects FC 4 .. but yea its a huge prob with FC 3 that also Used the dunia engine....(it affects other games too that use other game engines as well ) Microsoft was made aware of the issue months ago with FC 3 .. their advise ..disable tablet input services ..so yes that = an un fixed win 10 error

    i cant say for sure if that is what your error is , as i shut all that extra MS bloat off when i did my initial Win 10 install .. the X box app is also a big problem for some users . not many ppl go over an OS install the way i do ..if i dont need it and it may cause a problem or eats resources .. i shut all that crap off .. maybe thats why i have had zero probs with FC 4 ?\
    same with that new windows game mode app thing .. it slows games down ...unless they are from the MS store and eats more resources then its worth

    other then that yes please contact Ubi support with dx diag and Dx info files so they can look at the crash logs same with your Uplay client crash logs ..as it may be some other network issue
