Just a exemple of whats wrong with For Honor . We love the game but connection problem its the real issue.
Just look at the time stamps
I got green NAT
Its verry frustrating finishing 1 out of 3 Dominion/Deathmatch , after a couple of dcs people lose intrest in the game and go play something else.
I dont know what it takes to make dedicated servers but I seen private servers hosting 10k players online for 200 euros a month
Please adress to the devs to take action and realise that the game state its not OK

I think they picked p2p because they thought it would give people a more crisp connection, less delay than on dedicated servers.
Besides all the games dropping frequently there really doesn't seem to be lag, unless you're talking about right before everyone gets booted.
Just too bad it's so unstable, it's killing the game for a lot of people.
Although we haven't made any big network stability announcements since 1.06, but we are still working on ways to improve on the connection issues.
We know it's an issue so we're still exploring more solutions we can take to try to resolve the connection problems. I wish I had more information to provide for you all but rest assured that we have not forgotten about it.
most dc's that result on your side are due to someone else leaving. The games system works in a way that makes everyone a piece of the puzzle.
When one leaves the game has to scramble to make up for that. sometimes it can't and the game ends for everyone.
They can of course continue to try and make that happen less often. but it's never going to go away because that would mean they'ed have to re write their system.
that's just not reasonable to expect.
Dear Noty. You think that 5 months post-launch in an online multiplayer AAA title is acceptable to have all these connection problems? If you were a customer would you have been ok with this?Originally Posted by UbiNoty Go to original post
There is a lag. Frequency of occurring is directly related to game mode and what is the distance between players around your place of living. You may not noticed it because often game can hide this fact through animations but it is there.Originally Posted by The_B0G_ Go to original post
Thank you for the reply , like the title says I am not gona rage and I demand a explanation what exactly are the plans that ubisoft has on the issue at hand and what it takes to make dedicated servers . Since Ubisoft isnt that great at hosting online games , Have you tryed to contact other game companys and get some profesional help on the matter . That doesnt mean Ubisoft makes bad games , but it would work best for everyone . Thank you
Their plan on the issue is sending a forum moderator to apologize and.. well that is pretty much it. They have been apologizing for 5 months now without any real improvement the actual issue, and so far it seems to do the job.Originally Posted by Sir-Dumah Go to original post
It is much easier to hire someone who says we are sorry instead of a netcode developer to fix the problem. And please do not give me b-but it is a complex issue, since it seems to be a complex issue only for you. Every other online game works just fine, even F2P games from indie companies dont have this kind of problems.
I think I know what you mean, this is probably in the cases where you dodge and cents track you 180 degrees and hit you behind them and other caass like that when yiu have no idea how they hit you.Originally Posted by Draghmar Go to original post
