Red Storm had put out information about the classified gear the other day not 100% in stone but the writing is on the wall.
The only problem I have is the ruling on having all 6 pieces of classified gear in order to unlock five and six set bonuses.
As a Casual Gamer myself I truly think that this is unfair and that it favors players who play the game everyday vs players who actually go to work and spend a few hours on the game.
Now they did state that you have to have all 6 pieces to unlock the 5th and 6th bonuses on the set gear. Meaning that everyone who has current gear has to replace it with classified gear in order to be a top-end player.
My problem is players who get classified gear when the game goes live will have to wait exceedingly long times to experience what the gear can do at 5 and 6. Now in the interview it was a bit Fast Pace when they mentioned it but he did say 5 and 6 must be classified in order for you to experience the set bonuses for the 5th and 6th pieces.
Now everybody still under the assumption that you have to have all 6 pieces of classified gear in order to unlock 5th and 6 skills. Now I wish that red storm or somebody in the community would clarify this a little bit better so that casual players can understand that they don't necessarily have to have 6 pieces of classified gear in order to unlock five and six. That way players can testout 5 & 6 in there builds and see if they can enjoy the build verses waiting and extremely long time to complete a whole entire set only to get disappointed about it because it's either shy on stats wasn't roll correctly.
Also they need to clarify other things about the drops in the dark Zone vs Green caches if there is a remote chance that the green caches will drop classified gear also that could make the dark Zone very very toxic to the point where players are literally shooting anyone and anything they see moving around that might be carrying a yellow bag in order to increase their chances of getting classified gear. It would make young players or players who are unequipped be at Target every single time they going to the dark Zone making it unfair farming on new players. Think about it two weeks go by after 1.7 gets released and a global event ends why would you need to farm anywhere outside the dark zone for gear when you can easily just take it from someone else at a higher rate. And not only that they'll be targeting everybody who comes out of the doors of dark Zone 1 through 4. I hope that the devs read this and understand that this could be a future issue and if they're going to take a look and see attitude on this just remember I was the first one to post it and warn you guys about what would take place after you implemented 1.7 in the dark Zone.
