    New knight character

    I think a good new knight character would be a (names -->) Duke or Templar. He or She would look like the knight captain (but customisable and historical armor please, like Gothic, captain armor already in for honor, and so on).



    (If picture doesn't show click on the link. Captain hero but can be customized, also pretend the longsword isn't there.) It would be cool if he/she wielded a bastard sword and kite shield. I think this is good for the business, because you already have your beginning armor (captains armor). You already have a bastard sword (peacekeepers big sword). Also kite shields are sometimes littered around maps and even found on weapon racks. Remember, a kite shield is NOT the shield that conqueror has (he wields a heater shield)!



    (If doesn't show click on link. Picture of kite shield) By stats he/she could be a hybrid class of warden and conqueror (given shield). He/She would have warden health, however no all block stance which trades for lots of stamina, centurions would have a hard time draining this guy's/girl's stamina! While we are on the topic of that how about centurion jab attack only stumbles you unless out of stamina? Also if its a girl we can tell by putting hair coming out of the back of the helmet and/or a bit thinner cause apparently that's how people extinguish if male or female.

    His or Her attacks would be like wardens but top heavy attacks are a easily dodge-able attack. There could be a charge shield bash like wardens shoulder bash but knocks over enemy after full charge hit, easily punishable, and NEEDS to be fully charged to activate and cant cancel after activation (this means you can stop charging up).
    He or She can kinda deflect but only top heavy, this equals in a unblockable stab. runs as fast as conqueror. light attacks are as fast as conqueror's light. heavy as fast as warden's heavy attacks.
    Area attack could be hold shield above head and front area strike, but please no spinning. NOTE that when there is a final blow heavy, like conqueror don't have it pierce body, hit and not be in body please. A cool combo could be this -----> Top heavy feint to light which hits enemy with pommel and then top heavy which ends in unblockable mordhau strike (holding sword upside down strike) like this ---> (click; made this gif) https://j.gifs.com/pgx8nr.gif

    His or her run animation (please) will be of a kite shield on the left hand; armed with a bastard sword on the right hand. Also when the sprint they grab
    the sword above the hilt (with their LEFT hand and runs. The RIGHT hand moves in a fast run animation. ----> (click; also I made this gif https://j.gifs.com/JZvyXD.gif ) note that this is a knight hero; the gif is for a example. also hero hero still holds shield with his/her LEFT hand also he/she holds the sword (with shield on LEFT hand) at the same time when running. Also his LEFT hand dosent move. It stays there on his/her waist.

    Cosmetics:

    (executions) 1. two side bashes with shield 2. grab shoulder and throw to ground and stab enemy 3. stab enemy and slowly lift enemy over you with shield 4. hit with shield and cut off head.

    (ornaments) 1. feather 2. crown made/welded into helm 3. sharp point 4. angel wings on back of head 5. three spears from forehead


    (emotes - idle) 1. raises kite shield and bashes it three times (i would like to name this VICTORY) 2. points sword forward and yells (could also yell Veni, Vidi, Vici! which means I cam I saw I conquered) 3. face palms with shield and shakes head 4. falls to legs and sighs then gets back up

    (emotes - battle) 1. puts shield over themselves 2.tosses up sword and catches it 3. bashes shield once 4. puts sword over chest and bows quickly

    (Feats)) 1. body count - conqueror - rush - fast recovery 2. no bleed - knockdown - come at me - fiat lux 3. second wind - pugno nutoris (bombs) - fear - crossbow 4. regenerate - stalwart banner - catapult - deploy minions here/there (that would be cool, and if it made a conquest point contested if enemy, since this character was kinda based off of captain it would make sense)

    Unblockable sayings: (Latin)

    Shield stab: male: "Non potes me" = "You can't get me!"
    Shield stab: female: "Apage!" = "Away with you!"
    Mordhau combo: male: "Super te!" = "Above you!"
    Mordhau combo: female: "Dignitas!" = "For honor!"

    PROS
    1. good business wise since you already have the character model and short/bastard sword model along with the shield. I mean the KITE SHIELD pops up here and there on maps.

    2. I listed a lot of stuff so you guys don't have to make up most of this stuff!

    3. Fits knights more than Romans, and could replace the gladiator class that may come up in season 3.

    4. Balanced (I hope)

    5. Can be a centurion stopper (for any of those centurion haters out there)

    6. Would ad more realism in the game (historical wise, if no fantasy like gear that I please ask you not to do!), people lately want realism in this game.

    7. If your not making any fantasy gear you can look up the historical armor of Europe, you don't have to take time to make it up and it still fits with the game!

    8. A cool new "spice" or add to the game.

    CONS
    1. May change plans but I hope that wont stop you! I made up a lot of this stuff! You don't need the time to make stuff up!

    2. You guys worry too much on being sued for copywright. I would never do such a thing!

    Final note that instead of a tabard for the colors, we can use the helmets or standards like Lawbringer.

    If you guys are going to do this and need ideas for armor ask me or look it up! Its not that hard if you go to trustworthy sources! I hope you can see if something is fantasy or not! GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR READING!

    This would be neat. I'm all for characters (for the knights in particular) who gesture more towards historicity.

    If they have a bastard sword rather than an arming sword, do you think it would be cool to swap between one-handed-and-shield and two-handed-with-shield-on-back? Perhaps the shield is slung across the back when out of guard mode, allowing for two handed sword techniques to kill minions, while protecting a little against attacks from behind? That's the simplest way I can think of to pull that mechanic off, although it would make the class more versatile and put a more interesting mechanic at the heart of their gameplay if one could swap during combat -- perhaps the class has no zone attack but pressing both attack buttons simultaneously swaps between one and two hands, making for different kinds of move sets for different situations. It'd make them a true hybrid.

    Either way, I'm behind your idea. Likewise, a viking character based on the longsword-wielding captains their faction has.

    This would be a good idea! From what I understand was leaked the highlander hero (season 3 hero) has two different modes like what you're saying. HOWEVER I dont know how that will play out. So I am trying to make this stay twards the easy side so ubi will consider this a maybe new hero (which if it does become a hero then WOW!). So Maybe the out of stance could be the sling shield onto back. Ubi may or may not be able to do this. They have done this with conqueror and his flail being un-sheathed while not in combat. This is different but does add a bit more to him as a special character. If ubi likes this idea they may put it into this hero's design. We can all hope! Keep in mind this aspect may not
    happen.

    I wish Ubisoft would make this into a real hero or at least consider this. It would make my year or life if this was to be a new hero. Also it fits knights more than the early Romans; like the centurion and gladiator whom will be released on season 3 if knights lose again. It is good for the business and could be the seventh hero if not already planed them. ALSO its easy you just take the model of captain, allow customization, ad shield and bastard/arming sword, and have the side colors (like the knight's capes and standards) halve that be the helmet; like a line across the forehead and around the helmet. I would love Ubisoft so much if this where to be a new hero, and honestly I don't see whats wrong with this idea. People like this idea. Many people probably would come back to this easy/easier-to-make hero. since lots of people want realism and historical content in this game, and want a centurion fix/stopper. This hero could be the hero that is the challenge of centurions stamina drain. I can only hope Ubisoft will make my dream come true.

    am i the only one that thinks this is a really really reallyyyy bad idea?
    1 what you want is a revorked conqueror thats as good as warden. why would anyone use those 2 characters if thei have a better 2 in 1 version?
    2 you want him just because you made him with "centurion killer" in mind. if centurion is cancer now, and you want a character that "can beat" centurion, wont that character became even more cancerous?
    absolutely nothing new to the game with this character. just someone that desperately needs help with centurion and if "nerf centurion" didnt work, next best thing its "give us a weapon against centurion" without thinking what would happen after that.

    why not something like this but more traditional as a simple chain?

    sword and shield knight is a good idea: this weapons was basic in the knight period:and your idea should exist, i know there's conqueror, valkyr and warlord with shield, but even with same weapons, this hero can be different in term of style and gameplay .
    About the attacks, i think you're right: his heavy should have more speed than warden heavy, but the dmg should be low to compensate the balance.
